Wow, this is an amazing post. I hadn't ever seen it before until Mark pointed it out.

I truly think that we (anyone reading this) should try to post every time we get on NT... what God is doing in our lives... how we see Him. Can you imagine how much we could build each others faith up by having 5-20 new posts a day, about what God is doing.. the big or the "small" (while it may feel small, I don't think God really does anything small.. but he uses things that may feel that way to us... any time God is working in our lives and we are able to recognize that, it is HUGE!).

Anyway.. God totally provided for me today by letting me know that I have been approved for SSI. I was so worried about have no money to pay my bills beyond my cell phone bill that is due in a week or two... and I was so worried about what I would do. I knew it could take months and months, or even years to hear about a decision.

I was just about to get denied, and the woman that was working with me didn't want to see me get denied, so she got a second opinion from another doctor, and lo and behold, I was approved immediately! I haven't gotten an official letter or anything yet, but I am absolutely thrilled. Plus, I will qualify for Medicaid (in 6 months, I think..) and that is a HUGE thing considering I want to go through the process of trying out a spinal cord stimulator. While I hate to stop the process, or delay it--if I can get it paid for, that would take a HUGE burden off of me.

In other, "smaller" ways... I found God in the words from dear friends, the comfort and love from my cats, and the joy of reading a book. He speaks to me often and makes his presence known--even in every day tasks.

for everyone!

Yes, I guess I saw God today: so many people asked for prayers and so many more answered.

Thanks for bringing this topic back. It is good to feel that we are never alone. Even as we struggle in life, there is the sun, as someone pointed out, fighting its way to reach us and remind us that there is hope.

Smile Hope is such a wonderful blessing isn't it?

Thank you, Dancing, for your post.... it seems God is just always around, and I feel so blessed just even to experience that one four letter word.... HOPE. Yes, thank you for bringing that up today!

I saw God today in the face of my mom when I reminded her that today is the mark of three weeks of being sober.

I could just tell that she was proud of herself, happy that I remembered, and grateful for getting this far.

While she attributes it to the counseling sessions, support, and strength... I know that without God, it wouldn't be possible.

In fact--without God, none of us would take our next breath, so I see God in every single post on NT, every updated Facebook page, every car that drives by my house... because I know that God is the one who gave us life and allows our lives to continue.

Thanks for sharing ya'all .
I saw Gods work in the big smile and rich joyful sound of a baby in the food store as I shopped today. everytime I went past the mom and baby I made a silly sound and the baby was very amused tho I bet the mom thinks i am crazy lol
That made having to shop on my only day off a true enjoyable task.
PEACE

I doubt it. Any mom who has had to entertain a fussy baby in a store, church, or other public area... knows that sometimes you have to do things that may look crazy to other people. I'm sure she was grateful for the help in entertaining baby so she could get her shopping done! I would be, if I were her!

I see God right this instant in the love and support of all the people on NT. It doesn't matter that we may be 40 years apart in age, thousands of miles away, or in very different situations and places in our lives... somehow we all seem to bond together and be a continued source of support and strength for each other. I know God's gotta be a part of that! "Every good and perfect blessing comes from above" (James 1:17)... including NT!

I pray that God will be with me when I have to go to workers comps doctor for a second opinion regarding a spinal cord stim. my current doctor recommended. I go on October 28th with an independent witness from WC. It doesn't feel right. This will be a pivotal point in my pain management because they'll probably want me to go to their doctors in the future. The anniversary of my accident is Oct. 13th, it will be 2 yrs. I am thankful that I have a conscious contact with God through His Son that allows me to have good days. No matter what! Please pray for me.
