oh my gosh !! that baby and your whole family have my prayers. I pray he keeps geting well I hope he will be home very soon. keep us posted

Thank you everyone for your prayers. It scared the daylights out of everyone.

James was back charming the nurses this morning. He had eggs and fruit for breakfast and flashin his baby blues at all the cute nurse

I am so relieved. They did discharge him about an hour ago. Luckily the seizure left no side effects.

His temp is back to normal but my son Mark said he was going to check it constantly for the next couple of days. I don't blame him poor kid. He really thought he was going to lose his child and thank God the army taught him CPR!

I let Mark know how very proud I am of him and how he handled the situation! My dil usually takes care of the sick kids but she has just started working and wasn't home which happened to be a God send because Shanna doesn't know CPR.

She told me last night she was going to find a class and take it!

I am just so very thankful everything is fine and Jimmy is back to his beautiful handsome self

OOO my goodness Beth, I can't even IMAGINE your heart sinking as you're on the phone with your son and the grandson isn't breathing!! I had never experienced a child with seizures, etc from fever, but had heard of how easily it can happen. Being away from out children when they our THEIR kids are in a panic situation is awful. I had flashbacks of my own sons and some of the traumas they've gone through while hours away from us.

Prayers continue for your family and your grandson,

Good grief, Beth! How terrifying....I'm SO glad that things are back to normal. It's so frightening when you're dealing with a baby who cannot tell you what's wrong. Thank goodness your son was so attuned to his child and was there with him when this happened. I know this wasn't by chance that they were together at that very moment.

Jimmy is doing great. He actually spent the night with me on Saturday and we had a ball.

Yesterday we celebrated is one year Bday. (he was actually 1 on March 26 but we celebrated it yesterday)

He had a ball. No ill effects from the seizure thank God.

Thank you for all the prayers and support. You guys are the bestest
