Default Another prayer request for my mom

Please keep my Mom in your prayers. Many of you know she had brain surgery in February and was bouncing back and had returned to work.

This afternoon, my mom apparently passed out. She laid down for a nap because she wasn't feeling well, her eyes were twitching and she had a headache. When she woke up she was on the floor (she fell off the couch) and had a bladder accident. She slept through the fall and accident. She refused to go to the ER saying she was fine. She promised she would call the doctor tomorrow if she wasn't feeling better.

Please pray with us. My mom is a stubborn woman. She thinks if she feels OK, she is OK. She has also mentioned she is done with doctors. We fear she will pass out at the wheel or at home and no one will be there to help her. She wont go live with my sister or anyone.

I am beside myself being so far away. My sister was in turmoil not knowing if she should call 911 or not. Plus my mom made her promise not to tell the rest of us kids and that was so hard for her. She finally broke down tonight and told me. I had a long talk with mom about that and her health. I am not sure she is listening.

I'm praying too, Sandy. What a scary thing.

Heart Prayer Request

Hi I am Lady Veteran,

Please get a picture of your mom and lay it on a table or chair or whatever you feel comfortable with. Get as many of your friends, pastor, and or church members as possible to form a circle around the picture and join hands. Each person should say a personal prayer out loud according to how the Lord leads them and ask God for healing according to his will.

This helped a gentleman who the doctors thought need a heart transplant due to his heart only functioning at 5%. He had another medical condition causing his body to shut down. He will be fine with treatment. To God be the glory and praise.

Best wishes, God Bless and stay in touch.

[F Sans MS]Mom went back to work far too early as well and could not cope. She ended up with severe anxiety issues...very severe. Shehad a very hard time letting others help her. She thought she should be all better in no time flat. Truth is it took her many years to get past all of the residual effects. I do hope you Mom is OK. Brain surgery is so emotionally difficult on Mom and the family. Take Care of yourself and God Bless you and yours![/FONT]
Dorrie, thank you for your story. Did your mom ever go back to work? My mom's eyes are so bad and her memory is shot. She knows it but hates it. For now, we are assuming she may never work again and the doctors are starting to agree. They also said she cannot drive and had to let her car go back to the bank.

I love this idea! My sister has also considered asking her church elders to come over and pray over mom. Of course we cannot tell her they will do this. It will have to be impromptu.

Hi SandyMy Mom did go back to work after about 3 years...she was not the same though she continued working only for a couple more and then stopped completely. My mom stopped driving but that was because of the high level of anxiety....she has got into a car 1 time sincehowever that was not for the same reason as your mom. Hopefully the Dr will figure out what is wrong soon. The brain is a funny thing after surgery....people are not supposed to be poking around in there!!! There were times when we were pulling our hair out because of all the changes in Mom...it took so very long to recover and it is stressful for all. I am praying for your Mom Sandy that this is just a residual effect that will pass or can be healed...I pray that the doctors can pinpoint it and fix the problem ..I am praying for you as well...hang in there Sweetie DORRIE...SORRY PUT THIS IN THE WRONG SPOT!!!!
