Amazing Omega-3 Eggs
High omega-3 eggs are nature's nearly perfect food. Eggs contain all known nutrients except for vitamin C! They are good sources of fat-soluble vitamins A and D as well as certain carotenoids that guard against free-radical damage to the body. They also contain lutein, which has been shown to prevent age-related macular degeneration. When possible, buy eggs directly from farms where the chickens are allowed to roam free and eat their natural diet, or purchase eggs marked DHA or high omega-3 eggs (they contain a healthy balance of omega-3 to omega-6). Despite the unfounded cholesterol scare during the past 15 years, eggs can be a healthy addition to anyone's diet; they can actually help reduce the risk of both heart disease and cancer. themakersdiet.com

How to Get Sick:
A Modern Prescription for Illness How to Get Sick: Never Let Them See You Sweat! Any attempt to artificially prevent perspiration is very unhealthy because perspiration is the Maker's method of safely cooling the body while excreting numerous toxins. Suppressing this natural sweat response in your underarms or other areas blocks the body's cleansing process and the natural flow of the lymphatic system. Interference in normal lymphatic function may increase the risk of breast cancer. The products most often used to stop perspiration contain forms of aluminum, which has been linked to Alzheimer's disease and other neurological problems; triclosan, an antimicrobial absorbed through the skin that poses some risk to the liver; and zirconium-based compounds that can cause underarm granulomas or skin lesions. - Dr.Jordan Rubin www.gardenoflife.com http://www.makersdiet.com/publicsite...ge=aboutjordan Jordan's Story When Jordan was just 19, he was suffering from a list of debilitating conditions, including intestinal parasites, abdominal pain, chronic diarrhea, liver problems, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, arthritis, prostate and bladder infections, irregular heartbeat, eye inflammation, and chronic depression. Jordan was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. Though he was not familiar with the disease, he soon learned that his future looked bleak. He was told that medications would keep him alive, but quickly discovered that their side effects were nearly as bad as the disease itself. Science knew of no cause or cure for Crohns at the time, and his prognosis was very poor. After both conventional and alternative medicines failed him, and after 70 health professionals in seven countries put him through more than 500 different and often bizarre treatments, he was sent home in a wheelchair to die. video http://www.makersdiet.com/publicsite...ge=aboutjordan

Advice for Healthy Living - www.gardenoflife.com Understanding Our Dietary Roots History reveals that the most primitive people were generally the healthiest as well! Our ancestors rarely died from the diet- and lifestyle-related illnesses that kill most people nowadays, mainly because our ancestors ate healthfully and were more active. They foraged from primary food sources such as wild game, fresh-caught fish from the sea or inland waterways, wild berries, nuts, and plant foods. Our ancestors ate in order to live. In our era, we have allowed food to become our idol, and too many people admittedly live to eat. Most modern men and women have strayed far from the Creator's foods, the same foods that nourished the world's healthiest people. In our promiscuous society, we say yes to virtually every whim and desire of our palate, resulting in a national dilemma of an overweight, sedentary, and increasingly sick population.

Healing Herb of the Week: Mint
Mint and sweet-scented plants are mentioned in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke in the passages where Jesus scolded the Pharisees for gladly giving a tenth of their garden herb harvest to God while failing to honor Him in far more important matters. The Jewish people enjoyed mint with their spring Passover feasts and placed mint on the floors of their synagogues. Lamb with mint, of course, is the star attraction on many tables during the Passover and Easter holidays. Some species of mint are used to treat Alzheimer's disease and to flavor candies, gum, toothpaste, and liqueurs. They are also used as digestive aids. Peppermint oil is antiallergenic and is used in aromatherapy to stimulate brain activity. Source: Rex Russell, What the Bible Says About Healthy Living (Regal Books, 1996)

you can see it clearly, when you do not live in the USA
because we have been taught to trust authority and the authorities have lied to us... I use echinacea - that should be in your indian herbal... unless you are speaking of Ayuvedic herbals from India... then you will read about Ashwagandha...

Advice for Healthy Living Walk, Don't Run The oldest physical activity of the human race can be simply expressed in one word walking. One of Adam's first tasks was to care for God's garden: a job that required lots of walking. The longest-lived humans in history usually walked everywhere they went. They hunted wild game on foot, built shelters, trailed behind their animals and herds, and cultivated fields at an active pace each day with intermittent periods of rest. They knew nothing about aerobic exercise (which increases oxygen consumption), treadmills, or running tracks, but they were masters at anaerobic exercise activities that incur an "oxygen debt" through briefly sustained exertion. Subsequent development of our species and the world has demanded even more walking. Don't waste time looking for parking spots close to your destination choose a spot far away and walk there. You're getting healthful exercise while you're doing an errand. Forget the elevators and escalators take the stairs, or take a walk on the beach or to the corner store. Ride a bicycle, stroll through your neighborhood, and "walk the mall" when the weather doesn't cooperate with your exercise plans. A brisk two-mile walk (with long strides and vigorous arm movements) every day increases enzyme and metabolic activity and may increase caloric burning for up to 12 hours afterward!

Advice for Healthy Living Go Unrefined for Your Health The typical American diet is filled with refined and processed carbohydrates and unhealthy artificial sweeteners. We stray far from God's design when we choose foods filled with empty calories and refined grains. In contrast, the totally natural Maker's Diet satisfies us with unprocessed foods harvested directly from the Creator's bounty. Most prepackaged and fast food products overload our bodies with adulterated fats and refined sugars such as those found in candy, baked goods, and refined grains. Should we give up and just eat twigs, leaves, and berries the rest of our lives? No, we don't have to be that extreme. There is a better way. You can choose wild game instead of artificially fattened and estrogen-enhanced slabs of feedlot-raised beef. Select wild fish with fins and scales instead of farm-raised varieties dosed with antibiotics. Seek out nutritious fermented or sprouted whole-grain bread instead of commercially produced white bread that can't even sustain insect life. Spice up your meals with naturally fermented relishes and condiments instead of sugary sauce substitutes. The simple biblical principles I have incorporated into The Maker's Diet will help you eat healthier and may spare you the misery of or help you recover from debilitating modern diseases and health crises such as arthritis, cancer, obesity, diabetes, heart attack, and stroke. PS: The Maker's Carbs To eat carbohydrates the Maker's way, only include whole-grain products in your diet that have been properly treated through soaking, sprouting, or fermenting. These processes convert difficult-to-digest disaccharides into monosaccharides, which are easier on your stomach.

Healing Oil of the Week: Myrtle
Spicy, sweet-smelling myrtle oil was used in biblical purification ceremonies, but you can still find a variety of uses for it today. Its intense scent makes it ideal for treating respiratory problems including asthma, bronchitis, coughs, and the flu, while its cleansing and antibacterial properties have made it an important ingredient in solutions that battle skin conditions like acne and psoriasis. It's even been used to balance hormones. For a wonderful treat, put five to ten drops of myrtle oil in a warm bath. if you wish to plant a true myrtle in your yard, the Latin Name is -myrtus communis
