No Show! I am not too surprised. I went to his place, Vacant. I don't know where they are. SIGH!

CPS needs an address to do a home check! This is a last resort, but I feel it is time. I am trying to find out where they are staying, But he has been so distant the last few months I don't know where to start.

Her parents don't know where they are either. They are not too concerned, they say this is typical of her. She will disappear for a couple of weeks and show back up.

They have been though the wringer with her. They feel bad about my son and the baby, but are a bit bitter ( can't say I blame them) apparently she has been an issue for a LONG time. They are worried about the kids but I guess becuase this has happened before are confident they will be ok???? I wish I was as confident!

continueing my prayers for you Jaded and your son ,granddaughter. May your heart and soul be comforted, and may God lead you threw this to a good positive end. I pray they show up soon or at least that you find where they are and are able to get that precious little angel into your loving care.

Hi Dottie......I m in the same situation. My granddaughter 2 lives with us as my son and his gf lost her and her 1/2 brother to the cas over a year ago. We have recently decided to enlist the help of a lawyer and go for custody....I love my son deeply but he and the gf are too busy drinking and playing videogames and are forever online talking with their cyberfriends. They are terrible parents...lazy and self centered.....It took a long time for Saffire to get healthy and now she has such a good full life....I will pop in later...you hang in there...I know what a heartache it is. My son and I are talking right now but I know that this whole thing will likely end the relationship. I am willing to accept that as hard as it is...Saffy cannot take care of herself so someone has to step up to the plate for her...if it truly does matter what is "best" for Saffire then she should be staying put in this stable, healthy, loving environment. Gotta stop talking about it...I will cry...prayers going up for you and yours

Thanks for the words of support. I must say this has been the hardest thing I have even been through. I too love my son, but I know he is not "himself" how could he be.

I am at the point where I have no more left for him. I love him, but he has done nothing to help his situation. At this time my efforts need to be turned to the only one I can save.

I have hope for her. Hopefully one day my son will know I did this out of love not spite.

They are suppose to come tomorrow for Thanksgiving. It will be a very hard day for me. I'm sure they will be high. But at least I can see my sweet GD and maybe get them to leave her with me, at least for the weekend.

Sorry I am rambling.......anyway thanks for the support it means alot..............I NEVER thought in a million years I would be in this situation!

This has to be so difficult for the both of you. Dottie I'm so sorry your son didn't show! Darn it!

Well, my best friend of 42 years has custoy of her granddaughter who is now 11? She fought for custody of her when she was only a few months old. Her daughter just gave her to a couple in a park and took off. She had to fight the 'system' for 5 more months before she got her out of foster care.

Continued prayers for you both.

They showed for Thanksgiving and I have her until tomorrow.

They agreed to let me take her from next Friday until Wednesday........hopefully they will follow thru!

She is such a good baby......she has a cold and bad cough but is so Happy!!!!!! (So am I)

Happy to hear you were able to see them. My prayers are with you to be around her more.
