That has been my dread, and a reason also why I just turn it down for sleep, leaving it on 24/7. Yep!

I actually have to turn my lumbar one up a little for sleep, otherwise I wake up with bad charlie horses and a really tight back. I go in on Thurs. for my next reprogramming. Funny how we're all different and have different needs from our units. The "twins" said to say "hey" to "PJ"

Excuse my ignorance but what are 'bad charlie horses'

I have mine up high during the day, or at least as much as I can bear at times and then at night as I sleep on my back all the time I have to turn it down because otherwise Im hitting the ceiling

According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charley_horse,

Quote:
A charley horse is a popular North American colloquial term for painful spasms or cramps in the leg muscles, typically lasting anywhere from a few seconds to a few hours.
Doesn't only have to be in the leg, but that is where a lot of people get them. I get them in my calf area when I am lacking in potassium.

Teeth PJ says Hey Twins!!

And a hearty howdy do to the twins. Yes, even as every human organism is different, I would imagine we each find different needs with our stim. Sure grateful for mine. Howdy TWINS! I treat my pet human pretty well so far. He is getting used to me and my demands.

Thumbs up And Diarrhea can be a BIG cause,,,,,, oh yeah

Sarah is so right, cramp up tightly surprisingly, and I have done this many a time with the aftermath of the withdrawal diarrhea. Hate it, just hate it, especially when it makes me cringe out of bed with the cramp in the morning because it won't let up and my electrolytes have probably suffered along with potassium levels. Now, it is a banana with my live culture yogurt.
Yep,

Fiona THats sounds so painful alright. No wonder you would have to get up and walk around. I have had a few occasionally and they certainly are not nice. And then you have to put up with the pain in your calf muscle the next day due to the cramp
