Default Can I ride bicycle yet?

Anxious to try my bicycle out as it's been collecting dust for a long time. Think I could try it since I'm a month post surgery?

When did anyone start exercising other than walking? What did you do?

Thumbs up Six Weeks Post Surgery

And for me it was after my six weeks post surgery appointment where the surgeon cleared me to ride on fairly flat and level surfaces [basically just in front of my house] for 10-15 minutes per day. I am supposed to take it easy on the endeavor [wasn't a stunt rider anyway]. So if you go, remember your helmet. Be careful with your remotes. I wear cargo shorts, so I kept the remote in one of the deep pockets and did not fall down so the remote was not at risk. Then paste a big smile on your face once the Doc says OK and go for it EASILY.

Your Bro has spoken,
ASAP, [Always Say A Prayer] that might be a good idea here.

Default No fancy stuff here

No worries here, mate, no stunt riding. Have a older style bike with high handle bars so I can sit erect...and, of course, lets not forget my favorite, my bell on my handle. Had to get the bell ringer as it reminded me of riding my bicycle when a kid in Scotland. People on the bike trail laugh when they hear me using it as I come up behind them...ring, ring...ring,ring. Decided against a basket...thought that was just a little too cutsey

Thumbs Up Aqua Therapy!

I'm huge on this!
After 8 wks post op, my Dr gave me the green light to go swimming!
It's wonderful. Even just to tread water. Uses ALL your muscles in a very gentle non-weight bearing way! Good for relaxing breathing techniques as well!
I usually take BT meds first tho, because Doc said to turn unit off when swimming......hmmmm....wonder what happens if i leave it on?
Does my buttbuzz turn the pool into a bubbling sauna or something???

If you leave it on, may have to tell others around you that water's vibrating from your implant and not your daily intake of prunes...sorry, just HAD to go there, couldn't help myself

AND BESIDES WHICH, I buzz all the time in therapy, even in the pool. Why in the world would they tell you to turn it off? Geeeeeeee, are they going to make you install a Ground Fault Circuit Interruptor next?
