Heart Well YEAH Sinead

Keeping you in the fold of our prayers. So glad you have appt with neurosurgeon to explore surgery on nerve root. Neurosurgery is the means if the Doc is willing and the patient, you, feel secure. I have had such surgery and it cleaned out scar tissue, but the enervated nerve still produced pain, thus, SCS became my friend.

YOU have prayers from all of us along with hope for a brighter tomorrow!!

God Bless you in every way,
Love to you from us in Colorado, Sinéad,
Mark56zzz

P.S. Goes for Karen/Saffy too without saying!!!z

Smile I'm so afraid ......

Thank you Mark, thank you all,

I am so afraid that this surgeon like other doctors will just say sorry they can't operate and leave me back to square one, all depressed, worried, broke because I can't work! God knows where I'd be without the support I've gotten here and from my friends and family.

Love to all

Default Hi sophie

I pray that the right surgeon can help you. I fear too, different proceedure, scared mightly. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as we go through this difficult time. I have to maybe find new surgeon and new pain specialist. It is a merry-go round, and I want off the ride too. My best wishes for a good solution for your pain. ginnie

Cool

Thank you Ginnie,

It's the support on here that keeps me coming back, the merry go round has to stop its more like a torture chamber. I've been to see many pain specialists and some surgeons.

I'd love to hear more about some of your problems and I look forward to getting to know you.

All the best

Default Hi Sophie

I do know about your SCS problems. It is all so terrible difficult with dealing with cronic pain. I was turned down for the SCS for what ever reasons they had. Instead I had two spinal fusions, the last C3-7. I now face having my left foot rebuilt. After an 8 year decent into a wheelchair situation, I wrote to a reconstruction of the ankle surgeon. I am to have this ankle re-built on June 19th. Misdiagnosed all these years and left in pain. Have cronic torn ligaments, walking bone on bone, and all they had to do to find it was the MRI. Had only been treated with moderate amount of pain killer all this time. So took meds for pain in the neck and ankles. So now I am freaking again over having major surgery. My ability to walk at all is at risk. So I fly back here for comfort and companions, as we go through our merry-go -round life of surgeons, specialists, and of course pain. I do wish you healing, and I hope that you can find the help you need to have a good quality of life. I seek that too now, and hope with this next surgery, I can get off my medications. Keep in touch, let me know how you are. Let me know about you too. You will be in my prayers too. I try to go around the boards, giving and receiving comfort. Take care, ginnie

Smile Thank you!

Dear Ginnie,

Thank you for sharing your story, I bet you have hundreds of times on here and among family and friends and I know sometimes I just get tired of talking about it so thank you.

I too wish you all the very best and my prayers include all those with our pain. I'm sure you can't wait to walk again and it will happen theses surgeons can do such good things once they agree to it.

I will keep in touch.

Default Hi Sophie

I hope you do OK too Sophie. I get around OK right now, on medication for pain. It is the upcoming surgery that is a worry. I healed wrong with this ankle problem. The tendons, on both sides of the ankle are torn, cronically so (8) years healed. These tendons hold together the bones of the ankle. I am to have tendon replacements on both sides. fun fun fun, Humph. I am finding out about it now, and making more Appts. for more information before I do anything. Thank you for Caring sophie. Gosh we all go through alot here don't we? Keep in touch and let me know how you are doing. Keep in touch. ginnie
