Yes, in your situation, with the leads needing just the proper placement to make things just right, I am sure it is COMFORTING to know your doc, familiar with not only the case but the very specific arrangement of your cervical area to place the leads just SO!!

Actually Jackiey Vanna(Vannafeelbettr) has a St. Jude ANS in the Cervical and the Lumbar. I think there is one more of us who has St. Jude ANS but I can not think of the person who has it...lol...I'm a little foggy right now... Don't ya hate it when your memory decides to up and walk away from you???

Good Morning guys!

Hope everything is going well for everyone. Nothing much is happening on my end. I'm just WAITING! I hate this waiting. It feels like the more I wait for them to give me my date the more my life passes me by because of the things I can't do because of the pain......sorry....let me get off my downer rant...Don't get me wrong I am extremely thankful for the things I can do it's just that I just WANT IT ALREADY!! I'll be bugging my doctor today to see if we can get a date or not.

Other then that just poking along and trying to keep up with my son!...lol

I promise as soon as I know the date for my permanent implant my FAMILY HERE on this forum will be the FIRST ones to know the good news!!!!!

And as always I leave you today with happy thoughts and VERY low pain to none and my favorite smilie!!

Waiting IS hard, it CAN BE a downer, you ENDURE pain having tasted of the bliss of a good trial, and you LOOK FORWARD with probably every fibre of your being toward the hoped for benefit of a successful permanent implant. Rant away, my friend, this is the place to do it among those who understand, have been there, and care! DO NOT get down on yourself if you rant about waiting for your date to be given and then for it to arrive. GEE, it is difficult to be given back over to the pain you have known prior to the trial. I experienced it, anyone else here who has a permanent knows pretty much EXACTLY what you are going through if their permanent has been a good experience for them.

So may your days intervening between now and then be blessed with some measure of pain relief, even just so you can tolerate things better until then, may you be distracted with joys of life that do come along nevertheless, may you have peaceful sleep at night to face the next day as it dawns.

Your time will come, your time will come, your time will come.
And I pray that all will be well with you in all of these things, the waiting, and ultimately the permanent implant,

I'm not kidding guys I JUST got a call from my doctor and my date is MARCH 11TH!!!!!!!!! WOOT WOOT!!!!! I'M SO DARN HAPPY


Even though I've been a little down I just had this feeling today I would find out something and BAM! We have a date!!!! Houston we have a GOOOOO!!!!!! LOL....So happy and so excited about my new life starting on the 11th.


Thank you Mark so much for your well wishes and encouragement!!! ...to you You and all the rest of the family we have here keeps me going and helps me along the way! I can't wait for the rest of my life!!!!!

Great News!! I have an ANS by St. Jude SCS too and I love mine. Right now I have 3 different "stims" in my programmer. My favorite feels like a kitty's "purr." It really helps with the pain and burning in my feet.

Take it easy post-op and hope you'll have happier days to come!
