Hi Mark
patience is something we are forced to learn at many times in our lives. It can be in happy times when we slow down to care for a new child in our family or when trying to master a new concept. Or as you are doing now during the process of healing. Wishing you refreshed days of comfort and healing in preparation for your trip to New York. Sandy Kay |
Hi TK
I'm so sorry to hear about all the pain you are experiencing. It must be disheartening to have had relief and then had it taken away. I hope and pray the removal takes away the new found rib pain and that your PM Dr. Is able to help you find relief. Sandy Kay |
Mark, I am so very sorry to hear of this pain that still lurks. :( You've been through way more than ANY human being should. You've fought long and hard this battle that plagued you.
I hope that your Dr is on top of this and I pray that you can be kept as comfortable as possible, especially during your travels. Rae  |
Hey, it's OK
Yup, pain is pain, but given the big picture, despite 6-7 level right forearm, I feel blessed. Working, increasing hours, getting back into the swing. All is improving. Nagging yes, but improving. Gonna be a brighter year this next go around....
Yup, Mark56:D |
Hi Ho Here I Go
Yup, I am in New York after a VERY LONG day yesterday travelling.... 3am to just after midnight. I don't really feel refreshed after sleeping, but I am ready for the interview I must complete and then hope all is finalised. Goal is taking home another license to hang on the office wall. :)
The SCS worked wonderfully well for the travels yesterday, controlling the lumbar and leg pain issues. That pesky right forearm issue persists, and Doc believes it to be, of all things, tendonitis/tennis elbow. I guess I will have to take up tennis so I can stop playing and maybe the condition will improve, right?:D:D:D Kind of like taking up drinking would improve gout if I then stopped drinking?:D:D:D Har Har Hardy Har Har. Oh, well, the big picture is I will not be derailed by pesky pains and we are pushing on here. Yep, I have been typing, and it likely has exacerbated the right forearm stuff, but then such is a part of the practice of law. Words, words, and more words....... Well, signing off now from upstate New Yawwwk, as it sounds phonetically pronounced up here. Prayers for a pain-less-day for you all! Mark56:grouphug: |
Big Apple Mark
Wooo Hooo!! So glad you made it to New York, Mark! I'll be praying that all goes well and as planned while you're there, and maybe you'll even get a chance to enjoy the city a little bit. God bless you for the way you've chosen to use your profession to help so many who would otherwise be trampled on by the system.
Keeping you in my prayers, Jan  |
Thank you Jan!
It is SO TRUE the cheerful giver is blessed, for I feel so over fully BLESSED when I am able to help someone!! Makes me tell even more people I feel Blessed!!
So today, I was able to edit my LinkedIn to add Admitted to practice law in New York! How cool! The young man who interviewed me [he has practiced four years longer than I] said he so loves doing pro bono work as well! Then he asked briefly what was bringing me to New York, signed off on my packet and then we had a delight talking about colorful Colorado for a short bit. Gotta admit though the colors here in Albany are beautiful, and the ARCHITECTURE, amazing older structures. The capitol building absolutely beautiful! Home again tonight! Gotta see and hug my LOVE, I am feeling blessed, Mark56:grouphug::):D |
Congratulations Mark!
What a great accomplishment in your practice of Law. May you be blessed in all you pursue. Sandy Kay. :yahoo: |
safe home
How glorious!!!!
Congrats!!! Take it all in....I celebrate for you!!!! Jo*:circlelove: |
Thank you for the Congrats!!
Yep, now I am a New York lawyer living in a cow town in the colorful state of Colorado..... SO glad I am finally home again. I think I had two hours sleep in over 48 hours.....
Once I made it to bed after 5:30am this morning due to airline SNAFUs [yes, I know that the military acronym means] I slept solid 8 hours. Think I will get a nap in a moment or two. Did I mention I am glad I am home again? Had to resort to pain meds on trip because it was SO VERY PAINFUL, not so much the purpose in my going as was the multiplicity of airline SNAFUs, and yes, it was all on one airline. Ugh!! I think I will try Southwest next time. At least, my SCS worked very much like a charm, although I forgot and left my best buddy travel companion, my cushion at the Albany Hotel. They are going to ship it to me.... whew!! Prayin for all, now going back to bed, Mark56:grouphug::) |
