Default MRI at noon tomorrow

Neurosurgeons' office called today and set up an MRI for cervical area of spine . No doctors have run an MRI of my cervical; the last time anything was checked up there was in 1992. Of course his office help wasn't at liberty to tell me why it was ordered. Seems he was unavailable to answer any questions. That didn't surprise me cause not only in my case but in Soooo many other cases it's the same, "wait and sleep on it and you'll find out in due time". TIC-TOC, TIC-TOC!!

Smile Hi Larry

Take it easy, take it slowly, and know we will all be prayin you through this. It is what we do. Gotta tell you, it has been wondrous for me. And gee whiz, I just sent off the packet to the BLE for admission to the Texas bar because I have client concerns down your way.... yup. Gonna have to come holler at you and Andy, maybe even up close and personal how about?!?!?

It would be sweet,
Mark56

Hi Mark: Guess I did sound a bit jumpy, didn't I. I'm one of those christians who turns everything over to The Lord, wellll, almost everything cause sometimes He's not doing it fast enough or He's just not doing it my way. Me, almighty me, going up against The Greatest of all Physicians!
Andy's a bit further north than me by, about 7 hr.'s by car. My son lives in the an area just north of DFW so maybe I might be up that way and if'n my body is willin', I'd love to chat up close and personal with you guys.

And YES, that would be sweet,
Larry

Thumbs up Well NOW!!!

How cool could that possibly be? I will be in Dallas at least three days or more in February for the Bar Exam, so afterward, chatting on about stuff with you and Andy would be mighty fine!! Now all you need to do in the meantime is allow your humanity a bit of relaxation since the Lord knows that precious heart of yours, and each one of us carries those frail human limitations and baggage around until and unless we can ultimately allow ourselves complete humility in the Lord's GRACE. I reckon I will be making that effort myself for a good many years to come.

NOW I have a good Andy/Larry meet to tuck into my anticipations!!

Yee haw,
Mark56

Default Hey Fataboy!

[quote=Fataboy129;925920]. Any way, i will keepp lurking and if there are any Medtronic users out there I woulf like to hear if you are as satisfied with yours, as Mark is with his...

Wanted to say a proper WELCOME!
How good of you to be on here on behalf of your wife! You're certainly at the right place for great support!

I have a Medtronic and am very happy with it. The soothing stimulation in my legs and back is a far cry from the horrible horrible constant RSD burning I had suffered prior. I still take meds for breakthru pain, but I'd venture to say that I get 70% pain relief from my unit.
There are several others here with Medtronic units.

Please keep us posted on your wife's recovery!

Rae
PS! Mark, your thread is rockin right along! You never cease to amaze me!
You've taken New York and now you're headin to Texas!! I'm blown away by what God is doing in you! Onward and upward He just keeps carrying you. You have worked SO hard and have risen above any and every battle that has come against you.
You are such an inspiration to so many people!

Smile Well here we GO

Believe it or not.......NOT! I was subpoenaed to sit on jury tomorrow, the one day this week I had specifically set aside to finish up prep for the first leg on the BLE [Board of Law Examiners] requirements to show I am worthy for Texas.

So, I will take the study aids to the courthouse in the morning and sit with the pool waiting to be called.... or dismissed, and study. I wanted quiet. I got quiet. Thank you Lord!! I know God grins at times, when we think turn left and the real direction is back the way we came. Huh.

Then Saturday morning bright and early I go to a hotel conference center for the first exam. I am not fearful, goodness, I have been practicing for this for 32 years..... maybe I have it about right. We will see. Then three days of it in February to prove whether I have the stuff for that license down yonder....

Yup.... you know? Without the blessing of this forum, this SCS, this phenomenon of a self programmed means to control or manage pain with electro stimulation via Boston Scientific Precision Plus.... I might not be quite as far. You are squarely on target RAE just as always, bolstering me as you always do....

So, here is the gig, do you reckon y'all would be willing to pray a bit for my prep tomorrow and the resolve Saturday to do well? I would surely appreciate it. This is a leap forward in faith so my sister-in-law and I can form a firm in Texas, based in Texas which will rock along up the eastern seaboard in order to bring services to the clients I have lined up and more in real property and the like. Should be a lot of FUN!!

Blessed, thrilled, motivated,
running,
Mark56

Mark, I'll be praying for you for sure! And Mark, when you stand before the Texas BLE just tell 'um, "gentlemen, I wusn't born a Texun but, I got here just as fast as I could" and you'll git yore license con no problemos!
I just know that you, with your radiating personality, undying tenacity and studious tendencies, will achieve your goal here in Texas. If'n you don't get you license, for whatever reason, then to hell with Texas, I'm movin' to Colorado. ( sorry Davy Crockett for changin' your famous phrase a bit)
God be with you, your implant, your family and during your various trips.
Larry

Lol, I am in Texas, too. I am about 50 miles north of Dallas. Course, I hardly venture all the way to Dallas now since McKinney and Frisco house all my doctors. My husband and I were both born here, and we live out in the country. It's nice to be rural, but still only be about an hour from modern medicine.
