I never heard back from my neurosurgeon regarding the MRI he ordered on my cervical spine after my meeting with him for St. Jude SCS perm. Implant. My family Dr. said it was probably ordered to make sure that I didn't have anything going on up cause after the implant I wouldn't be able to have any more MRI's unless the implant was removed. He said if need be there are other procedures that could be used, if necessary. Like you, I have turned it over to The Lord as I have so many times before. I was Soooo depressed the other night from worrying about medical, personal and financial problems that I couldn't sleep from not only the pain but from all of the worries. After my talk with The Great Physician, My Father in Heaven, I soon fell asleep and awoke feeling rested and unscathed from all of my woes. Thank you Lord and to you be all the glory and praise. Gods speed Mark and may The Good Lord continue to bless and keep you. I pray for your continued success with your SCS and your law studies. limpin'Larry here on earth but, someday, Larry will be RUNNING ON STREETS OF GOLD!!! |

Larry, I have no doubt at all you will be running that marathon.
I had a cervical spine fusion in August, and I hope wrap up the healing phase tomorrow at surgeon's office. I have gone without my collar much of the past week, and my neck is feeling strong. Thank you for your prayers! Do know they are sent for you as well! Mark56 |

Now, as to you and that wonderful move coming up to your new home, we pray it is complete on schedule, that your brief stay in in-law's second home will go well, and giving prayers of Thanksgiving you had a decent move to the temporary lodgings. Peace be unto you, and health, and joy, and Blessings, Mark56 |

Mark, it's just SOOOO good to have you back here, up and running full speed again! When you were minding your restrictions awhile back, we certainly missed you. A big part of the forum was missing, that's fer sure!
The prayers we all pulled together did some serious damage to that @#%&* 'deceiver' as you were being pulled down to the depths of agony. Hurray that those days are gone!! Rae |

Cervical spinal fusion a wonderful gift of the restoration of my arms and hands. The pain is G O N E!!!! The numbness???? WHAT NUMBNESS??? GONE!!!!!!!
Doc has given me three months to show what damage I can do well, really, to live anew. I am allowed..... ALLOWED did ya get it? to ride my mountain bike!!! Allowed to use my total gym and the treadmill...... we are all thrilled.... So, when it is time to share thoughts of Thanksgiving, I must thank you all for the prayers and the Lord for physician aided healing through fusion which STOPPED the degeneration of my arms DEAD in its tracks. Wowie Zowie, these words are even emerging through my tapping fingers rather than the voice interface from my headset. I so much like the typing, because courtesy of that 8th grade typing class on an old carriage return typewriter I am FAST on a keyboard. But the humility of it all is the glorious feeling of being able to hold Cleo's hand once more and actually be able to feel her hand in mine. This is something I could not peceive in June..... it was frightening to say the least. Thus, my feeling of being Blessed and the overwhelming feelings of love for all of you which boil out of my heart agape style when I contemplate the world wide prayer partnership we have in place. Humbled, and Praying thanksgiving and care, Mark56 |
