Smile 27 November 2012

What a blessing to awaken feeling refreshed. A few weeks back, I went through a sleep study because, well, in a word, I had become tired of awakening tired and I was fed up with causing my dear heart to miss sleep due to my worsening SNORING! It needed to be addressed.

Went to the local trusted hospital. Checked in to the sleep lab. Spent a night all wired up for everything but sound. Spent the night being studied while I demonstrated "skillfully" my inability to sleep and was thereafter provided a means to attain rest. Wow.

I had been experiencing apnea events sixty times an hour. No wonder neither my wife could sleep at my side, nor could I awaken refreshed. Sure pain was under control through my Boston Sci Precision Plus SCS, but rest is paramount when managing pain.

Last night was the first night using my CPAP rig. It was convenient. Silent. Comfortable. Above all, I awakened without the feeling of "argh, why am I awake again?" Not bad. Definitely a gift worth giving my beloved wife. Sleep.

I feel blessed,
AND ready for another day of work,
Yup,
Mark56

Hi ya'll! Lab work was changed to this P.M. so wife and I just got back from San Antonio and will have to go back and be at hospital at 7A.M. versus 9:30 A.M. as per their earlier orders. Hope that means they have moved me up in the waiting line. I certainly hope so and I'll give the prayers credit for that. Thanks again Mark for your support and prayers and as most all of us know, there is power in prayers. I wish I lived in Denver long about now cause I'd be over at your house letting you do some hands on praying for me. I'm not complaining cause I know prayers via The Holy Spirit work plenty good as well.
Wellll, guess I'll talk to you folks later, Good Lord willin' and the creek don't rise.
God bless you each and everyone.
Larry

Heart Prayin Larry

Thanksgiving you are moved up in the queue, your labs complete, and prayin all will be well in the morning!!! Just close your eyes a moment as you are holding your wife's hand in the pre-op center and witness the crowd gathered around your bed as we pray in the spirit!! I cannot imagine you have any less than a crowd from here joining you.
One in the spirit,
across the miles,
Prayin,
Mark56

Smile Hi Ho, Hi Ho

It's back to work I go....

Whistling a thankful tune.

Being a Bionic Borg Biohazard Butt Buzzing Bunnie of Boston manufacture Precision Plus modela is quite the thing addressing my radicular damaged nerve pain profile as just the ticket! AND that is said even though the Boston folks pay me nada to write such drivel.

Yup,
Blessed,
Mark56

Thumbs Up Sleep Apnea

Thank you for sharing your experience with this, Mark!
Both my parents use the little machine and both have testified how much it has helped.....in so many areas besides just getting better rest!
They have more energy, less fatigue, feeling 'sharper' brainwise....amongst many other assets.

I may be next in line for a sleep-study test!

So glad to hear you are continuing on with more and better health improvement!

Rae
