Default Greatly inspired

Hi everyone. Welll, I'm not buzzzing as bad to day as I was yesterday. I made my appt: with Neurosurgeon and he left myself and three reps from St. Judes in a room and surgeon said give Larry some programs that will work. I was in room with the headman who took charge and he was going through so many programs it was sort of confusing at times. When we got through I was really satisfied with stimulation coverage I was now receiving that I hugged every one in the room and wished them a very Merry CHRISTmas. Praise be to God I actually was seeing light at the end of the tunnel and my pain scale falling to lower numbers.
I was programmed with three programs with control over all of the programs. Each program has three different adjustments that I can raise and lower until I get it to a level where I am satisfied, not where the St. Jude rep is satisfied. When we were finished the rep asked me if I was more satified than after previous programing and I didn't stutter when I told him I was MUCH MUCH more satisfied this time around. The rep who had worked with me for about 15 min.'s 4 weeks prior didn't smile after my comment but hey, I'm the one in pain, she's not!
I've been messin' with my programs and have found relief and wonderful feeling in my calves, thighs and across buttocks. One sensation that I had, across my waistline, during programming, isn't there anymore and I think maybe it was lost because of the particular way I had been sitting. I did sit and stand while he was programming to make sure I still had sensations in different positions and apparently that tactic didn't work; I'm not worried because he said he wanted to see me in two weeks when I'll give him a report on present programs and I'm quite confident he will be able to reset program and retrieve that oh Sooo good feeling that I experienced in my waistline.
Thanks you Lord for the answered prayers and I continue to pray for your tender loving mercy for me and the blessing of product knowledge and patient compassion that you have bestowed upon my St. Jude represenative Mike. I also asked that you bless my new found friends here on this NeuroTalk website, in whatever way that they may be needing Your blessings. Father I also thank You for my beautiful wife who has stood stedfast by my side, along with You, during many tough situations in the last 39-1/2 years.
In Your precious Sons name.

Larry-
Praise be to God you have been blessed with Mike, AND your first rep was a witness to what occurred. Teaching was available that day if rep number one was willing. It truly is ALL about YOU and when a rep finally gets through the mind of omnipotence the patient comes FIRST God can work miraculous things.

Try to assume the position in which the "ghost" program was used as the wondrous feeling was achieved. No doubt, if the program was thus set, it is still there, it is a matter of finding the equilibrium.... and if that place is found, you may report on it in two weeks to Mike.

Blessings on you and your wife this glorious Christmas day!

So sorry to hear you are down with the flu Mark. When I saw my Neurosurgeon the other day he was down with the flu; down but not out he was still seeing patients. I just not as tough as you two cause my experience with flu has been to stay in bed and not communicate with my fellow man, computer or otherwise.
Yes The Lord blessed me with a good rep in Mike. I just feel so much more upbeat and eager to greet this somewhat drastic change in life. I just hope that those who may be lurking, and are trying to decide wheather or not they should try the SCS, are swayed into giving it a try. I know during my search for information on the SCS that I encountered many anti- SCS posts.
Wellll, I'm starting to ramble so I'd better give it a rest. Oh, by the way, I'd like to wish you and my other new found friends here on NeuroTalk my somewhat belated Merry CHRISTmas wishes.

Thumbs up Uh Oh....

Larry! and TK..... and DFWAndy.....
Gonna come down there and assault Dallas the last week of February as I hope to do well on the Bar Exam. Been reading all of this stuff called law y'all have down there, and I am beginning to think your body of law is the size of your state..... BIG, maybe ten gallon BIG!!

Pain still managed well with my stim, and I am so blessed this is the situation as expansion of this second career is the means of restoration for my family, not to mention me. Thus do I remain thankful to Boston Scientific for its Precision Plus device which I use 24/7 INSTEAD of pain meds. Glorious.

God is good,
yes indeed,
Blessed,

All right, Mark!! I'm excited we can all get together! Yes, I just took a class in school law this summer and my head still spins. I wrote a 22 page paper on free speech and the Internet in relation to schools this summer. It was actually quite interesting! I love law! I would love to go law school, but one M.Ed is enough for now. I'm hoping to parlay my interest in law and Ed degree into research with TEA and investigating lawsuits. It's where I scored highest in my comps.

Heart So When We have Dinner on the 24th Feb

And Enjoy a mini reunion of the midwest contingent of NT, you and I can blab law!! Not bad TK. Cheers for you and the MEd.! Accomplishment of that level demands recognition and praise, not to mention the papers you are doing!!

I have a means to reach DFWAndy privately, but not LimpinLarry, so this message will hopefull carry to him, 'cause we need to CELEBRATE something..
let's celebrate one another!!

I'll actually be at Fort Worth near the convention center, the site of the testing, and without car as I intended to avoid that expense since I am primarily there to PASS a test, ya know.

Lemmee know,
I will text Andy,
Yup,

Default Good news and bad news

Good news first :
Got back this eve from my visit with Mike, my St. Jude ANS rep, and I now have three more programs added to two previous programs. I now have coverage over my problem areas with light soothing stimulation OR knock your toenails off stimulation. As I was leaving he told me that he would be ready to work with me if'n I wasn't happy with adjustments or if I needed more tweaking. How much more dedication could I ask from my SCS tweaker? Really looking forward to experimenting with my new programs in the next week or so. Thank you Lord for helping me to get this far and thank You for Your having blessed the hands and expertise of Mike, my St. Jude rep., and thank You for my wife/soul mate Barbara who has stayed by my side for the last thirty years of operations and procedures.
The bad news :
It's kinda up in the air for my participation in pending reunion. Barb and I live about 7-1/2 hr's from Ft. Worth. If all goes well and my driver isn't booked up, I MIGHT get to come up there. My son lives about an hour or so from Ft. Worth and we'd be staying with him. He and my grandson were just here so I don't know if they will be all that eager to see us again that soon . Good Lord willin' and tha creek don't rise, we'll be there cause I do want Sooo much to meet my new found friends!
Well, ya'll take care, God bless and keep you and yours.

Larry
