Default Good News!

Eeee it's always good to get good news isn;t it?

Today I found out I have been awarded high rate mobility (hence getting Tootle for travel needs) and high rate care ... it takes a LITTLE pressure off money wise.

I've also booked another holiday ... Not only are we going to Katelios for a week from 3rd July but we are going back again in September for a week !

Last bit of good news ... rang the hospital and they have an appointment for me to see my surgeon on 16th August ... I guess this is regarding another stim !

Will you have Tootle for your holidays away? I hope you get it very soon so that you can get around much easier. Sounds like your prayers have been heard and answered. Maybe the first answer was not right now but you got a YES this week. Have a great summer with Tootle!

Sandy Kay.

Default Hooray!

So glad that you got some good news, Saffy! I'm guessing a Tootle is a motorized chair of some kind (maybe like the Power Chair?), and an extra financial break is always a good thing. Enjoy your holiday, and I'll be praying that your Aug. appt. will bring even more good news!

Yep, tootle two is my motorized scooter .. Well,it's my mums, but she's too proud to use it. Sadly it won't be coming on holiday but where we are going is flat and directly across a small road to the beach.

Tootle One is my fiat 500 ... Appreciatively for under our government's mutability scheme to help people like me get out of the house. Trouble is, you loose £51 a week benefit for this and it's getting to a time where we may need the money more than the car.

Heart Hello you!

Hi Karen,

That's great news, I'm delighted for you, it sounds as if some of your prayers have finally been answered. Another holiday too heh, I'm delighted, please God I'll get one and I wouldnt mind Gran Canaraia or Portugal for a week but I don't think I have the money to go, but that's right now who knows what could be happening in a few weeks or so. I really am happy for you, you've been through some really tough times and you deserve it. Don't forget to have patience.

Take care my friend and God bless, he is definitely looking out for you.

Sinéad xxxx
