Cool I'm in the mush pot 9 days old

Onky kidding. Feel a lot better. Weaning down on pain pills and muscle relaxers. Starting to walk more. I hate the no reaching over your head! It's so annoying. My birthday is Sunday so we are trying to plan the best thing to do not to tire me out or make me sore. I vote laying in the recliner. It's not a landmark birthday or anything! Lol. Still worried about jostling something loose, but sometimes I forget and bend or stretch. I don't mean to and it's not much but I don't want to cause any problems. Hope everyone is well!

Heart I thought it was peas porridge in the pot.....

..... but congrats on your birthday and doing good things for your stim. All will be well. You just gotta be prudent. Don't feed the horses..... Do blow out the candles, because that is fun. Don't lift those arms real high celebrating your birthday. Do be a bit demure....... tell folks you are turning over a new leaf.... keeping your wiring in place!

Everything will work out for the best,
Besides, we are prayin,

Default having a hard time taking it easy

I'm having a really hard time taking it easy. I just can't stand to be horizontal. My recliner does not work for me - it hurts to do the recline then it just is not quite comfortable. That leaves me sitting up or laying down.

Just hang in there. I know this can be frustrating and you probably are tired of being told to take it easy and hang in there. Sometimes the best thing you can do, is to do nothing and let your body heal. It is a lesson I found very hard to learn and pushed the envelope too far several times. Each time, I paid a price for it. Have you used a bunch of pillows in the recliner? When I use mine, I must use several pillows to support the painful spots. The spots very from day to day. Have a great day.

Laugh

Happy Birthday TK!!

I know you aren't able to do too much at this point, but at least you can say you've got better pain control. That is certainly something to celebrate!
