I am indeed off all pain medicatons, first time in 10 years. I do have pain, but only if I really extend physically. It is Not unbearable as so much of the pain on this site. I do have meds. if I really really need them, so I am not afraid to try. I have a fantastic doctor, who would be there for me if ever I needed more. I got a hug from her nurse and was told I was a poster child for them.
I am doing OK Eva, and I do realize how blessed I am. That horseback ride in the water, made all this possible. You never know what Gods plans are for you.

first thank you God for another day

my emotional strength lags at times
i turn to prayer

my lag comes when physical
pain trump's at times as when
depression comes along
it is here on this thread that
has helped me get it together
i have a family that needs me
and wants me around as long
as possible
diagnosed with RSD is upsetting
peripheral neuropthy
failed hardware my doctor
failed to tell me
two cervical spine surgery
failed fusing the first time
a year later 2nd time around
i did fuse
but worse than prior surgery
angry yes draining physically
then emotional kicks in the
end i get angry not a good place

i am comforted by those who share

Corissa will be with mom for a while so i will invest
via plastic money to do the job

coming with swatches for color

he will remove the kitchen cabinets for me
they as in HUD funds this building any repairs

The open vulnerability in which each of us approach the sharing of blessings, of difficulties, of prayers and concerns. Oh how I love God's work in and through each of us who share here.

Today was a blessing to help or rather begin to help a single Mom who, with two young daughters, faces foreclosure. Hard, so hard for her, and feeling a sense of being alone, until we sat together and shared vulnerabilities, faith thoughts, the possibility of light at the opening of the tunnel, a warm basking light into which she might be able to emerge with her young ladies and have their home. Oh, how I pray for them. A miracle this one will be if the Lord is in the solution, and that is certain and for sure.

Please pray for young Mom and her girls.

Dear Mark,
I will keep this young mom in my prayers with her two daughters. I know how it feels to loose your home. No matter what age you are, it is a painful journey. I will loose mine due to my lack of money to pay the taxes. All that happened is I got sick. I do not understand what is happening in this country where so many who try desperately cannot keep up with what happens to them. What ever the circumstances are, this is something we all need to pray for, for each other in these sad circumstances. Ginnie

So glad you are functioning and blessing on this level. While helping others is great for them, it is also medicine for the soul. Being able to do that actually increases the endorphine production because it brings pleasure. The circle goes round and round. Fortunately it is a circle of blessing, not pain. Controled studies have actually proven that the mere act of smiling increases endorphin production. I knew laughter did which is why I watch comedies when in a pain crisis, but the mere act of smiling helps a bit too.
I have the studies filed somewhere but they seem to be hiding right now.
