My little community is in pretty bad shape, emotionally. There are only 26 units in the building but in the last month we had one resident who lost a second son to gangland drug warfare. Two dear neigbors have died. One died in his sleep night before last. The other of cancer early last week. It was their time and they were ready in all ways. Many of my neighbors have terrible health issues. I am the baby of the building. This last month has been very intimidating. Thanks.

Oh my, Spine! Of course you are feeling this way!
This is alot of sadness and tragedy all in one place.....the place YOU live and dwell!
My prayer is that God Almighty surround you and everyone else in the building with His Peace and Protection. I pray for His healing touch to those, including our friend Spine, who are suffering....and I pray for the families of those who have lost their loved ones. Lord, send them your Love

dear God
and friends

thank you for another day

it is something i wish you
did not have to go through
be prepared living in a tough
rough insensitive world of
beings who just for shits and giggles
get a thrill harming persons
i am not armed
but it has crossed my mind
i just fear it firing not to protect
i myself in my home
live in what we consider a high
crime area New Jersey a 5 minute
ride through the tunnel or across the
G.W. BRIDGE
not to say NYC doesn't have
their share of crime
sickness has never been so
prevalent around myself also
i share that with you also
i don't know if it is anything
like what i am about to say
until i got my car van i thought
i was the rare one to have it
not... it was all over the place
you must empower yourself
try, try never to be alone
it is also a good idea to have
a camera with you
have your phone #'s programmed
in your phone or posted close by
what a mess some persons have to
live among such fear makes me angry
and use your police department or
any emergency crime #'s
especially if you fear your safety
GOD the almighty listening
i would think with a heavy heart
our prayers
i can tell you the power of prayer
supersedes always in charge forever
our protector
JESUS gave us rebirth
a do over
shame on us who doubt his
existence only to be crucified

I knew when I moved in here that most of the neighbor did what I did......move in here to be closer to their doctors and hospital. The big difference was they were older and in worse health than I am. Intellectually, this comes as no surprise but it still hurts when someone passes or even worse, must go into a nursing home while cognitively fit. strangely enough, these things seem to come in twos and threes. Deep sigh. Thankz for the thoughtz and prayerz.

I have a date for the "meet and greet" appt. with the surgeon on Nov. 15. The timing is as such that my daughter will not need to come up the night before and will make it home that night. I know it will be pushing it for her but it's her choice. With a little good luck, and I am past due for some , I may have this behind me and be buzzing for Christmas.
