Unhappy Need your prayers...

Due to our lovely weather here in WI, I've been in a perpetual flare-state for the past week, and it's starting to really wear me down. If it weren't for my upcoming SCS trial a week from tues, I'd really be going insane. So I can see a light at the end of the tunnel, but the pain is still getting me down and preventing me from doing the work around the house that needs to get done before my surgery.

So please, pray that the pain relents enough to at least function in my semi-normal way... or at least be able to sleep or move even! I'm just losing it in this pain level! Please pray for me!

Thank you,

Colleen

Smile Concerned

We pray, dear one, in seeking help to overcome
that pain be placed where naught will hurt
the battle won

'Tis hard for sure to brave the times
when pain would win
so we pray solace be thine

Our Lord lift up your hurting frame
and hold you close
breathing light and life to you the same

We pray your time of waiting pass
Deceiver held at bay
so pain be checked, long lasting help be yours at last.

In Christ's boundless agape
caring deeply as we your friends assuredly pray

Default Mark...

Mark-

That was beautiful, and exactly what I needed to hear. So comforting. Thank you!

Default Sometimes,

in His wisdom he will allow us to go into the office in a full flare so the doc can really see what we are dealing with. I pray for peace and relative comfort up until the day of the trial and then reflect everything that is going on. Hang in there. You will make it to the finishing line. Hugz and prayers.

Default Spiney...

Spiney-

That is an excellent point. I tend to be the type to almost downplay or (this may sound ridiculous) but 'forget' just how bad things really get when I'm not in full-flare-mode... So maybe you're right... and it would certainly make helping guide the leads for my trial stim a lot easier if I were still in full flare like this! I just hope I can make it that long... cuz boy, this is harsh. But your perspective makes it easier to tolerate. Thank you!

Heart Colleen....

I'm so sorry the pain has got such a hold on you

This is usually when the depression sets in for me.
Keep your eye toward the goal and do whatever you can to get some relief. Sometimes if I can land on a good movie (commercial free!), it'll help to take me outta 'my' world of hurt.... for a bit at least.

Your day is comin
I pray that God shelters you under His mighty wing, and that relief will come swiftly.

Rae

Default Thanks Rae!

Thanks Rae! I'll have to try to pick a good movie and try to do that...just relax. less than a week till my trial, and worse comes to worse, and it doesn't let up till then, at least I'll be all set to help them place the leads perfectly! As my pain is loud and clear! My biggest issue is that I can't get the work done in my apt that I need to, but if it comes down to it, I can always stay at my dad's for the week, as my mom will have my dog for the week anyway. Cuz right now anyway, I'm in no shape to clean ANYTHING! But it makes me feel so lazy... even though I know it's not my fault, it still feels like it sometimes.

Default p.s.

that first sentence didn't come out right... I meant I'll have to just try to watch a movie and relax. It sounds like I'm telling you to relax, lol. Sorry Rae! Def didn't mean that!!!
