Hi, I am a new member. My SCS trial was a wonderful success. My implant was 4/17 and has never given me any relief. My pain is in my rt. leg with the worse pain in my hip.
3 different technicians have tried very hard to gain coverage, but haven't been able to. Today the 3rd one said there is nothing else they can do. My PM says the leads need to be revised. I know I have no choice, but the stories I have read indicate the revision may not even work. Can anyone tell me success stories? Thanks. |

Since I had an unsuccessful trial; I never did get an implant. It appears from many posts; it is very difficult to get complete coverage. It's a hard decision. Often the leads move or scar tissue which forms pretty quickly can push leads from original area. I hope someone with past experience will respond. Gerry |
