Thank you everyone. I am having my battery replaced and my leads moved higher up. My concerns are alleviated as it has been only 7 months. I will be completely under assuming the anesthesia works this time. Only 2 weeks to go! Thank you again.

Thumbs up Thanks Yellow!

I KNEW you'd come to the rescue!!
I had it backwards tho. Yours were moved 'down' instead of UP.

I'm glad your concerns have been alleviated, NJ!
We'll certainly be interested to hear how this goes for you!

Yes, yellow thank you. My electrodes are too low for my specific pain. The scs is covering pain, no more. My pain is very specific and real bad but no other issues, thankfully. Y'all are great getting answers, thank you again.

Heart Zippers

Yeah, that is what we need at these sites..... ZIPPERS, so when a battery goes kerflunka or a lead migrates south for the winter [or earlier in the case of Rae of "tossing hay bales fame" they just zip open the offending location, drop out and in the needful stuff, then revision becomes a "no mas" situation...

NJ, prayin all will be well with you in your revision!

Zippers,
Uh huh,

Hi everyone,

My revision is done and I am very sore but relieved. The rep from st Jude upgraded my overheated battery to the Mini and replaced my leads. Everything went smooth other than a delay waiting for the room. Got home at 10:30 last night.

Slept ok, a lot of surgical pain as expected. Saw my doc today to look at bandage (blood showing), said not a problem but expect pain as the new anchor was tough and changing leads. Have to wait till the 30th to buzz.

The docs used "Michael Jackson" drug, I was real spaced out when I awakened, my wife and daughter were laughing at me a lot. I was repeating a lot and saying of.....

Thank you every one for praying for me. I believe the upgraded battery and new leads were miracles. And my favorite rep from st Jude was there yesterday.

Glad to hear it went so well! And hopefully the 30th will come quickly for you, only 10 more days

Ahh propofol, the "michael jackson drug" I've been put under with it way more times than I can count. I sometimes remember saying the same thing repeatedly to the nurses or residents, but thankfully they were patient with me.

Went to the doc to have bandage changed today. She said it looks great and not to worry about leads moving ( she said my surgery took so long because the old leads were very secured). My doctor is such a perfectionist!
