Fin - Glad you were able to make it back. You are pretty brave for doing that by yourself. I have visual memory issues and there is no way I'd be out hiking by myself. I would get lost. I am sure your legs are screaming at you this morning. Rest up today.

TKTC - Hope you are feeling better.

The CRABs are immunomodulators which, to my understanding, works differently on the immune system than the immunosuppressant drugs. As it was explained to me, one "modifies" and the other "suppresses." The immunosuppressants are pretty scary as the toxicity and infection rate is much higher with a small window for dosing (to my understanding). Ty and Novantrone are 2 approved immunosuppressants for MS. I know they have found that using a combination of the 2 have helped some people with MS but I think this is still in the trial phase.

Not sure all that I will be doing today. I am going over to my parents for a bit this morning before my dad heads in to the hospital. I have a couple more "chores" that I want to get done over there. One of my sisters is going with my parents to the hospital. That is what my mom wanted. So I'll be hanging out. The surgery is long - 5 hours give or take - so my sister and mom will be coming back home for a bit. (We're only a couple of miles from the hospital). My day will be spontaneous today.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning! Jim and I are having coffee. My plan today is to sweep the floors and then rest until the young girl next door is ready to dye and cut my hair. She's in beauty school so I told her she could do my hair. I trust her. The worst thing that can happen is the color wont be what I want but that's why Miss Clairol is in my cabinet ready to take over if need be. hahahaha

Trish, saying a prayer for you today.

Everyone have a good day.

Pink? Purple? I'm thinking Grease's Beauty School Drop Out song. hahahah. These would certainly be colors that you don't want.

Good Morning! Nothing much planned today except chores here at the house.

The Jehovah's Witnesses just came a knockin' on my door. They left some phamplets. They were very nice. I sort of had to acknowledge them since my front door was open (storm door closed and locked, tho) and I was standing in the foyer.

I took a look at my garden yesterday......I need to clear it out so we can replant some of the veggies next season. We never got to eat our watermelon. Oh well, it didn't get big enough to cut but I'm wondering if it was one of those "mini" watermelons I've seen at the grocery. Probably not. I need to leave more room between plants next time.

Tricia, I hope all is going well for your Dad during his surgery. Keep us posted on his progress.

I need to go to the store for bread and milk but just don't feel like getting "fixed up" enough to go out! I'll get one of the boys to stop and get it on their way home.

Oldest DS moves out next week. Wednesday is the day! He's so excited. I'm happy for him. He's already been out on his own once. He's hardly ever home anyway so it won't be that much of an adjustment for me. I think youngest DS is getting the "itch" to be out on his own. I've told him that's fine with me but he needs to be sure he can swing it financially because Mom just cannot donate to "the fund" anymore. She's already stretched so thin you can see through her!

Okay, it's noon and I'm still in my nightgown. Guess I'd better get moving. Ya'll have a great Thursday!

The young girl just called and she can't do my hair until tomorrow. She has to care for her grandma today. Thanks for the link Trish! I love that movie!

PS: A little unknown fact about me. I am a beauty school dropout. Seriously, and it is very similar to the Grease movie. My instructor turned my hair green and we had to strip it down to no color which left me orange and straw like. I had to cut it all off. I dropped out right after that and never went back. Who wants to be taught by someone who does that to your hair? LOL

Nothing new here -- teaching, grading, reading, watched Top Chef, eating, and trying to sleep. And it is raining again!

Sandy -- Loved your beauty school dropout story.

Jenn -- I think I would have panicked.

Tricia -- Thinking about your dad.

Kelly -- Hope you will not be too lonely if both ds's move out. Just think of how clean the bathroom will be! I hide from the Pentecostals, Mormons and all others that come to my door. Or I tell them that I am Catholic. That seems to scare them away.

Holly -- back at you!

Debbie, You should not be driving right now anywhere. I am saying this because I do care!

Vonn - Hope you do well on your exam!

Hi Soxmom -- Are you feeling better today?

And to all of you lurkers! Hey!

Afternoon, everyone...gloomy, rainy, cloudy, cold...we had only a couple of days of true autumn...
Busy with last therapist appt and then took inlaws to dentist...not as tired as recently...probaably because I talked to the doc about it...so it goes away...
Th urogyne is trying to figure out why I have stress/urge incontinence...of course, 4 babies between 9 and 10.5 lbs. wouldn't have helped any. But he will go over the tests and the visuals he did yesterday and discuss it with me next week...he'll probably suggest a bit of surgery. Not to excited about that idea. But we'll see...

Trish, hope everything is going okay...thinking of you and your family
Sandy, that was so funny...that color of hair would be so "in" right now...

Well, hope all of you have a good evening...
