Well you guys it looks like I wont be able to get those rocks out and will have to pay. I spent all day outside today and only accomplished the front porch area. The river rock is way to big and heavy for me and Chris can only help on certain days due to student teaching. There is no way we can get it all done by Tuesday. I felt a little failure about it but I have to be real in what can and cannot happen right? I really needed about 6-8 strong young men but since it's last minute and labor day that's not going to happen. Ugh, I hate when things aren't as easy as they look. The rock is at least three inches deep in some areas and that makes it even more difficult to remove. Oh well, chalk it up to the professionals.

Sandy - Can you hire some kids from the local high school to come over and help you out? It may be less expensive. At some high schools they have a volunteer club that goes out and does that kind of stuff. Check it out. And, btw, Labor Day weekend is next weekend. I just found that out today. LOL

Oh Criminy. What if the second interviewer was wrong, and they don't want me after all. Now I'm going to be left wondering.... I'm going to continue my job search tomorrow, and also do more marketing for the new business. I need to close August and the year for the old company. New company, old company, job search, are you able to keep up? LOL

all around!

Taking it easy today, but not really by choice Old saying that getting sick is your body's way of telling you to take a time out Got a bit of an upset tummy and such, so think I'm gonna curl up and rest, rest, rest.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Wiz .. hey girlfriend .. come up for air ... and try not to figure everything out - it will fall into place ...

UPDATE:

was able to pick out fabric - cut, sew, press, sew some more, press some more .. pin the fleece, tie, and bind ... all in one day .. with a TON of breaks! now I know I can make one quilt in one day!!

got an "A-" in my entrepreneurial finance course last session .. I'm in Business Law for the next 8 weeks ... and homework every week, too!! then ONE more course after this .. then, I'm done ... I'll end up with a PhD or Doctorate by the time I get my SSDI!! LOL

Good morning everyone!

Fin - Hope you feel better. Rest and drink plenty of water so you don't dehydrate.

Sox - Glad the youngest one is doing better this year. That makes it so much easier on you. You will adjust to the alone time again. Let it be a time to regroup before the troops come home. Do something nice for yourself.

Wiz - Whoaaaa! Slow down. LOL Take one task at a time and prioritize. You sound like me when I have so much going on and to do. Still keeping you in my prayers that you get the job.

Vonn - Congratulations, Dr. Vonn! SSDI can be such a long process for some. A lot seems to depend on what state you are in as it is a group of dr in your state that review your records. Wishing you luck.

Hi everyone else! Where are all of you sleepy heads this morning? LOL

Hope everyone has a great day!

Today is bathroom cleaning day. While the bathroom is small, it can take me up to 4 hours to clean it because I have to rest between tasks - sink area, rest, toilet, rest, tub, rest, tub, rest, tub, rest. Bath tubs are the hardest to do.

Then I have to write an essay. Oh man, this is going to be a challenge. I wrote a draft last night, reread it, and freaked. It just didn't flow and the supporting paragraphs didn't really match the "introduction" of the topic. So today, I will be rewriting the essay. I sat on the couch wondering, again, if this is just more then this damaged brain can handle. But, I woke up this morning with a better attitude - perseverance and determination to get this accomplished.

Well, Nik called yesterday and has a bunch of guys from the fraternity coming on Saturday to help! I can't believe they are coming on Labor day weekend but no one is going home so whoohoo for me! (Trish, Labor day is actually Monday but many celebrate over the weekend). I am not calling the landscaper back until I actually see some action on those rocks. haha

What does everyone have planned for the weekend?

LOL - I looked at my calendar last night so I could put my class deadlines on it and saw that it is this weekend. LOL I was in the wrong week. Heck, I'm still in August while everyone else is in September.

That is so sweet of the guys. Pizza and beer for all!

Computer company told me on the phone today that my computer is being contrary. I do not know if there is a serious problem or not. It seems that they have not gotten the spyware off of it yet. I guess that means a long weekend and no computer.

Well I need to do some grading. Take care everyone!
