Brain,

I really hope it all works out soon and you can sell the old house, move into the new and your DH gets a really good job down there in Florida. I also hope you'll get a pony, lol. You were thinking about a pony at some point weren't you?

Kelly,

Maybe you can get some generic Zyrtec and take a half of one at bedtime, it's better than suffering with those miserable headaches.

Barb,

I hope those computer guys get yours fixed soon and back to you. I'd be climbing the walls without mine, lol.

Everybody in pain or needing a hug....

I slept until 11:20 this morning, but I was up very late. Rocky wanted to play last night so that kept me up even later.

One of his favorite games is for me to throw Q tips down the stairway. It's carpeted and has a landing that turns. He jumps backward and twists and dives going for the Q tip. When he lands, he wriggles around on the floor of the landing and keeps looking up at me to make sure I'm watching. Then he brings it back and drops it at my feet for a repeat. He'll do it about a dozen times then go like a rocket down the stairs when he gets bored.

I did lots of laundry yesterday so I need to put that all away today. I still need to dust. And yes, I'm a very slow house cleaner, lol. I always get distracted and find something more interesting to do.

Tomorrow I'm going to NIU to apply for various job categories.

Everybody have a great Labor Day. We have no big plans for today.

That sounds so cute, Wiz!! It's hard not to play with them when they "ask". My Tigger loves those covered bands used for pony tails. I bought a pack of them - there were probably ten of various colors - and he got one and played with it for hours. Now, he likes me to throw them down the hall and he runs after them. He hits the wood floor and skids all the way into the dining room! He'll hide behind the couch and wait for me to say "you ready?" then he'll take off after it down the hallway. It's so cute....and when he wears himself out he just flops down under the coffee table and stretches his back legs out.

Don't our furbabies bring us so much love and enjoyment?

The one cat loves soda pop caps, rings from the milk carton, and twist ties. The other will go after business cards.

Why do we even bother buying them cat toys? Gave up on that a long time ago, LOL!

hey all!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend...This morning finds
me tired. I had an hour of crying, trying to get my youngest 6 off to school.

He hadnt done this at all so far this year so I was surprised. Now I want
to cry.

Everyone have a great Tuesday! Hugs all around

Aw, the poor little guy. He probably just had a little bit of separation anxiety. Soon he'll have friends there and not be able to wait to get out the door. It just shows that you're a very special Mommy that he wanted to stay home with you.

Hey all,
Been a while, just usual busy with working and all!!

we did have a great day sunday, we went out to Fayette State Park..my younger sister with her family and my parents were there camping.
It was a fun day, walked kids down to the beach there, walked over to see the old buildings the Fayette part... then also did a quick spin on bikes with hubby.

We had a fun day. Today is first day of school. So two in high school now... one in fifth grade. I take Ciara to her school for a visit today, then she rides bus tomorrow. She is again in a preschool class at a disability school, she goes for speech delay. She is excited, we take her at 1pm. Then bummer part I work 3-11pm tonight, instead of afterschool fun with them.

I was originally off for vacation this week, but had to cancel it out, due to the manager that I was not too happy with her work, well she quit.. at first with a notice that she would finish out Sept... then she came in and quit on spot.... so easiest way for this week till someone trained in was to schedule me her shifts.

But, this coming weekend off fri/sat and sun.. yeahhh and hubby and I go away Sat/Sun overnight... we are playing in our first hubby/wife scramble golf tournament. Not far away maybe about hour, but we decided to stay overnt for time together woohooooo

Feeling ok, usual stuff, trying to focus on enjoying life thru it as best I can... lost a few pounds recently and trying to get some yoga going.. just havent fit it in lol...

I hope this finds all well, can not read thru all I misssed but know I love you all...

kitty.. Ciara loves your kitties on your posts.. she was watching the eyes blink and all....

Sox, first day of school tears... ahhhhhh I still have a few more little ones that may go thru that... hugsss, sarah

Morning all! I could have sworn I left an update but mercy it isn't showing up!

The landscapers will be here later on so I am planning to do some grocery shopping on Thursday for my get together with old high school friends. I got all my laundry done yesterday and wow did it need it! Other than that, it's a sunny beautiful day out there.

Oh, we just got a call from the Cerebral Palsy organization who put in Jim's ramp. They want to send a photographer out to take pics for their annual report. WOW!

Sox, It will get easier for him.
