Aw, the poor little guy. He probably just had a little bit of separation anxiety. Soon he'll have friends there and not be able to wait to get out the door. It just shows that you're a very special Mommy that he wanted to stay home with you.

Waiting to hear back from neuro's office. Called them this morn about my spacticity acting up. Running on about 4 hours of sleep right now.

Tho the plus side of not being able to sleep, found a few more places to submit my art to.

Hey all,
Been a while, just usual busy with working and all!!

we did have a great day sunday, we went out to Fayette State Park..my younger sister with her family and my parents were there camping.
It was a fun day, walked kids down to the beach there, walked over to see the old buildings the Fayette part... then also did a quick spin on bikes with hubby.

We had a fun day. Today is first day of school. So two in high school now... one in fifth grade. I take Ciara to her school for a visit today, then she rides bus tomorrow. She is again in a preschool class at a disability school, she goes for speech delay. She is excited, we take her at 1pm. Then bummer part I work 3-11pm tonight, instead of afterschool fun with them.

I was originally off for vacation this week, but had to cancel it out, due to the manager that I was not too happy with her work, well she quit.. at first with a notice that she would finish out Sept... then she came in and quit on spot.... so easiest way for this week till someone trained in was to schedule me her shifts.

But, this coming weekend off fri/sat and sun.. yeahhh and hubby and I go away Sat/Sun overnight... we are playing in our first hubby/wife scramble golf tournament. Not far away maybe about hour, but we decided to stay overnt for time together woohooooo

Feeling ok, usual stuff, trying to focus on enjoying life thru it as best I can... lost a few pounds recently and trying to get some yoga going.. just havent fit it in lol...

I hope this finds all well, can not read thru all I misssed but know I love you all...

Morning all! I could have sworn I left an update but mercy it isn't showing up!

The landscapers will be here later on so I am planning to do some grocery shopping on Thursday for my get together with old high school friends. I got all my laundry done yesterday and wow did it need it! Other than that, it's a sunny beautiful day out there.

Oh, we just got a call from the Cerebral Palsy organization who put in Jim's ramp. They want to send a photographer out to take pics for their annual report. WOW!

Sox, It will get easier for him.

Ok, I got an email that I didn't get the job at Nicor. So, on with my job search, lol.

It didn't pay enough anyway. I had a nagging feeling that I would either a) get bored out of my mind in this job, or b) regret it for taking one that I'm clearly overqualified for.

I emailed them back to see if they would give me the reason.

Hello everyone! I slept late this morning....after being up early and then going back to bed! But......it's a miracle I did because my neighbor is having a new roof put on and the workers are making a huge racket! I think there are ten men with nail guns all popping at the same time! I think they'll finish today (by the looks of it) so that's good news.

I talked to Joelle for a little while this morning. It was good to chat with her. I think about calling her all the time and then just never do. We got caught up today and had some laughs. Her kitties were meowing in the background....so cute!

I went to my BIL's brother's visitation yesterday. It was crowded and hot - they only had it for 2 hours! I didn't stay long......I hate the smell of funeral homes. Fresh flowers and antiques. Whenever I walk into a florist that smell hits me. It's not a pleasant smell (to me) and everytime I get a whiff of it I get sad. My house smelled just like that for weeks after my DH died. We had so many plants and flowers. If I had had the presence of mind then I would have requested donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or some other worthwhile charity. I just wasn't thinking about it then.

I read all the previous posts but cannot remember all the news from everyone. So....... for everyone.

Life does some strange twists and turns sometimes. The MS stuff was dragging me down - but I've got a huge smile on my face.

Was floored by an email I received this afternoon. Apparently my hoofing it is starting to pay off. A Bone Fide gallery who does submissions by invite only contacted me! Double checked to make sure they were legit (and they are!). Just waiting to hear back on some additional info I requested. Think I'm gonna faint, but in a good way!

UPDATE:

after my morning update of energy .. I got a phone call from the doctor's office with my blood test results ...

thought I was low on a vitamin ... or something, or nothing ...nope - I have hepatitis ..

don't know how - other than the auto-immune system attacks the liver ..

tomorrow - I have to go back for more blood tests (well, they want more blood!) .. and schedule a CT scan for my abdomen ...

I'm okay - my insides are in knots, etc ... but "I look good" on the outside! LOL
