Hi Everybody!

We're having some much needed Indian summer days in N. Illinois. I haven't been able to enjoy it yet but I'll be going out soon.

I've been staying busy with the job search and also trying to pass some Microsoft certification exams that the unemployment office had for free. The past several days I've been studying Excel and I do ok, but you only have 50 minutes to complete the exam. I hope I'll be fast enough.

I've been feeling ok, though I had a dream last night that I was having trouble walking. It was just a dream though.

Our youngest son is sick, and from the sounds of his cough, I think it might be the H1N1. He's been sick for several days now. He's supposed to start a new job on Monday night so he's really hoping to feel better by then. Today he's drinking green tea and has a productive cough so hopefully that's a sign that he's getting better.

Business is slow but sure, we generally have 1-2 repairs to do a week. It should increase eventually though.

My job interview went well last week but she stressed that good handwriting is very important because they write each other notes a lot in that office. (My right hand is weak sometimes.) But I signed my name for her and tried to write neatly. I also wrote her a thank you note and tried to sign it and write the address neatly as well.

If I don't get this job, another one will come along eventually. I applied for four other jobs online this week.

Sandy,

I'm keeping your mom, Jim and you in my prayers. One of the neuro's at my doctor's office told me about Levaquin and the tendon problem a few months ago. She won't prescribe it anymore because of that.

Trish,

I hope your MRI will be ok.

Vonnie,

I bet you're keeping busy, hope all your tests are going ok.

Fin,

Hope you feel better soon and your art is awesome. I sometimes wish I had kept up with painting, but I was so darn slow at it, lol. My late sister could finish a painting in a couple of hours and it would take me weeks to get one done. (I still have that one painting hanging in the livingroom, and three of my sis's throughout the house.)

Everybody else that needs a prayer, or a hug, or pain relief...
