ROFL...when it warms up I'll have to take this computer outside and play that at the bird feeders. Our group would go nuts trying to find them.

I miss our old coffee pot...it had a timer and we'd wake up to the smell of fresh coffee everymorning. Now I have to wait for Mr.Alffe to get up, make it and bring me a cup. What a guy!

I don't want to be an early bird. I want to go back to being a Spring Break bird!

I'm a birdseed for brunch bird this morning.

Sorry you obviously have just finished some time off school there, Julie? I always loved it when the children were home from school. There was so much less stress.

Alffe and goofy, glad you enjoyed the Kookaburra call again. I reckon if you play that to your birds there alffe, they'll totally freak out.

Don't you just love our amazing earth. Even when terrible things are happening, I'm reminded all the time of how beautiful she is. I woke up very early this morning at daybreak and sat outside for a little while and watched the sunrise. It was just like any usual pretty sunrise for ages, then all of a sudden the sun hit the clouds in just the right way, and the horizon and sky turned gold. It only lasted a few minutes. I love our pink sunsets too. Some times of the year the whole sky is pink and blue. It's so beautiful.

cleaning out the old nests here...hoping a family of wrens will move in. I can't think of anything lovelier than hearing a wren singing.

*grins at Idealist....am not hanging curtains or waxing their little floors.
