My first son "named" my inlaws. Much to my MIL's chagrin, he calls her Nana instead of Grandma like she wanted. He called my FIL PapPap. He loved that. He would have loved it even more if Michael had called MIL Granny. He was torturing her with that, but Michael started saying Nana, so I guess that was the lesser of two evils.

Sad to report that hoped-for grandbaby is not in the cards this time...my DS and DIL found out that they are much more enthused about a baby then they thought...I told him, so am I
