After my few days of hospital vacation and almost two months of recovery, I am now feeling much better. I've had two to three medical appointments a week since Feb 24. A lot of these appointments were for tests, the same tests I took almost ten years ago before a conclusion of MS, because the king idiot of neuros questioned the dx of two specialist. I am seeing one of the MS specialists I saw before.
After receiving most of the results, we definitely know I do not have Diabetes, Neuropathy, RA or other auto immune disorders. It is coming down to another dx of MS and which immunology treatment. I wasn't in Savannah for a dx, I was there to be treated for an unrelated reason, bacterial infection. A few boundaries were over-stepped, not to mention the rude overbearing neuro whom spoke to my son as the village idiot. At which time I spoke and called him rude, and was he an idiot? You have MS plaque, but you don't have MS...my son questioned why and how did he reach this dx. You don't talk to any of my babies in that tone and you sure don't stick your finger up in their face. I pretty much lost my cool, told them to get the hell out of my room and not come back. I go tomorrow for another visit with the cardiologist to get more info on the results from a week or so ago. I have an abnormality in the left side of my heart, which Savannah sent me home because they were worried about the C-Diff being spread through the staff. Well, honey, its not contagious, unless I poop on your head!! ![]() My MS specialist is upset over their disagreement of his dx and especially when I asked for a MS specialist they told me that was not going to happen...I'm thinking of filing a formal complaint against them as well as the hospital for some other failings of medical staff. I've keep my cool through all the crap, ups and downs, but I have had enough. I am now more defiant in getting questions answered, I am more determined when pin pointing an answer to specific questions and I have never been intimidated just because they have a medical degree. So, I know how frustrating it can be, but ya gotta take control, not be bullied and ask things to be explained specifically when needed. If they don't like it, remind them, you are the boss, you are paying them for a service, not the other way around. I told one neuro, that I had the right to fire him, since it is my health, and my money he would be spending to pay for his lunch. He left with a puzzled look on his face...lol, gotta love when that air plane don't land. lol |
