Default Having a fulfilled life with conditions?

Hi I am not sure where to post this so please move if need be.

I have been dealing with RSD and PN for 5 years. I am 33 now and a women. Sorry not sure if that should make a difference. I am limited so have not been working. I also have very little support because I have little contact with my family and have few friends. I do deal and am under care for depression and anxiety. I have finally come to terms that I need to do more with myself then I am even through the pain and limits. I need to try to make friends, possibly date, volunteer, work part time. Some issues one I lack concentration, even before this was not that book smart. I also seem to be scared I guess of being in the real world. I fear judgement of people and I have nothing to offer. I also fear hurting myself and being in more pain with more problems.I also lack interests such as hobbies because all my hobbies in the past involved being active.

Gosh this sounds like a depressing post. I want to be more proactive in life and do better with the condition. Can anyone share if they faced or are facing similar? What helps you? Thank you

Pain makes depression even harder to deal with. For several years, I have had to fight depression. Eventually, you know the triggers that worsen us. I finally realized I needed to get out of the house; even if it were to take a walk in the mall.

The need to get outside one's self is very important. Going to Church services.....volunteering in some of the committees. The need for people to help in that area is always there.

As a child, I liked to draw. I even ordered a kit with oil paint and instructions from a tv shopping station. I really enjoyed learning and teaching myself (thru art books) painting. Is there something you had wished you could try??? If so, go for it !!!

Also, Not the "brightest lightbulb" myself. Try to watch some of the informative channels, what's going on currently. These topics help when in the company of others.

There are many people posting with Neuro Talk. Really nice caring and sometimes funny in spite of the pain.
