I was just at Whole Foods today and they were still recalling pb and almond butter today and this is a month later. I remember many years ago this happening too. I was not aware and I wonder why it is such a problem?

If they are recalling pb and not peanuts then we can make our own pb. I must warn you if you decide to make your own pb like I tried one time. Our Vita-Mixer says it will do anything, even make pb so we decided to make fresh pb.We didn't have any peanuts but we had DRY ROASTED cashews instead but they will work so I said. *Caution* Don't use any dry roasted nut of any kind.Poor wife scraped to get it all out and that was our experience of making pb.
