bread killer??
Yes, moi, I is a bread killer...I wanna be cereal killer but I ran out of Kelloggs bathing bran...they like to shower in milk...soooooo...
actually...moi not really care if I am killer of threads or not...LOL I usually pass the gas and the next person that reads usually faint...but then... so, I am moi, I am married to Mrs. Moi. Moi have two step mois, that would make them tois. We are not French, except we like Fries. We don't like toilets but the Mrs. Loooove the Eeewww de toilets (the kind they sell at the dept stores, not sure why she likes those better than the Kohler ones...hmmmm...) the mois are not the Jones's nor do we have wars with the Roses. We are known to have wars with the Dandelions, though... Mr. Moi, that would be me, have Tourette Syndrome along with some of the co-morbids...wish it would come with some cash, wouldn't it be nice? To have the neuro problems that came with cash...shoooore would come in handy! Mrs. Moi is pretty normal, she is a nice, sweet, beautiful person that is kinda blind (that is how Mr. Moi got her to marry him...LOL) the mois have met quite a few wonderful forum members...the alpho's (known as the alffes) and Mrs. Doodoo head (aka doody) have came to our humble weeding here in SC Mr. Moi, that would be I, have just started his own business and is hoping it will help him make some living so he can feed Mrs. Moi. LOL Mrs. Moi is a wonderful nurse that has been nominated as nurse of the year twice, in the whole state of South Carolina (known as Palmetto Nurse). 3 nurses are picked from each hospital each year... (I have to brag about Mrs. Moi cause she won't do it. LOL) We have been involved with the forum/chatroom from the old BT to the new NT for many years now, and are hoping to get a BLT along the way... if you are still reading this...you are probably rolling yer eyes and thinking that Mr. Moi is nuts...that is soooo true for I never make any sense! LOL But if this bread dies with me. No sweat...the mois will become moistures... either way, wanted to say thanks to this wonderful place, to Doc, to kimmy dawn for administrating it while not menstrating over it...LOL And to its mods such as curious and others that keep it running smoothly... good to see you all, take care, the mois are going back in cognito with mosquitos...its their season here...they are our state birdy.... |
well lets - see what can I say?
to the rescue of shelley dear not too far but not too near she has some ouchies but still so sweet lets all gather round and have a yummy sweet treat or maybe just a tall cold mug of beer!:D |
YAY!!!!!!! That was awesome Jo  Wooo Hoo Beer :Dancing-Chilli:
Go Jooooo Go Jooooo Mr Moi that was awesome! From reading threads for so long I have always wondered how the Mois, the Affle's and the Doody's knew each other. Rats now I need to be saved again. Yeeee haaaaa. I took some vitamins that have me rocking today. |
ahhhh...never fear, Shelley. moi's here to save you from the toilets...LOL
Well, if you really wanna know...LOL long long ago...in another forum not so far away... it all kinda started when Moi, that would be me...wandered off my usual forum (called Chit-chat forum) into the SOS forum (over there at old BT that used be called another name before that) and ran into Mrs. Alffe. She took moi in quickly and told me to behave...LOLOLOLOL the rest was biology... then, there were hububs going on with a lot of people angry at one individual...he caused a lot of havoc over there in them forums and Mrs. Doody was one of the victims... anyways, one day, while Mrs. Doody was posting a photo of when she was pregnant. She had the heading "pregnant" in her thread...and inside it was a photo of her pregnant-self... well, not to be outdone by Mrs. Doody...moi posted a thread called "important!!" except Mr. Moi isn't too good with Engrish and posted, "impotent!!" The rest, shall we say, is history?? We all became friends, one visited the other and finally...during the mois weeding last year, where we really needed some help with our weeds...we were honored that the Alphos, the doody, the duck, da kat, the merewood, the Hawk, the Battski (some of these folks no longer come to BT nor NT) decided to come to our weeding...my gosh, we were soooo humbled, honored, yet so happy that they all made the long trips to our blissful day... we got married outside, it was sunny, nice, breezy. The guitarist was great, I forgot the ring....you know, the usual... a day I will never forget...and will always forever be grateful...for the fact that da wife was willing to marry me, and that these wonderful folks were willing to come to our weeding... OK, enough...LOL and that was a cool poem, Jo and Shelley, you keep hanging on, ya hear?? Everything is gonna be alrighty.. ((((everyone)))) as the SYRUP would say, "wee wee" and the French Toast would say, "NOT ON MOI!!!" and here is a lovely photo of Mrs. Moi>>>> :Bride: |
Awww Who Moi that was a great bedtime story. Thanks for explaining the Moi Affle Doody history. It was beautiful.
And Mrs Moi sure is pretty and congrats on her big award, she must be very moi special. Ok going to bed, someone save me tomorrow. How do I keep ending up at the end of the thread. |
Curious, I sure hope you are going to be getting so relief from the rain. They say we are soppse to clear of today. Seems like when one part of Texas gets it we all do. Scares me about the summer coming up.
Shelley, You are saved. So I hope the same. Hope you slept good, which I am about to do. Darlene:hug: |
Good morning, all, and Kimmy....
I've been a "thread killer" (ender) for years....you get used to it!
It doesn't seem to happen here as much though, I have to admit. Actually I don't see how anyone can be an Admin and not have to do that at least now and then! EVEN ERASE at times! You could always delegate you know:Poke: LOL |

|
wren, I hope you are able to have the puter thru the storm!
Ahhhh, more folks, *waves to all above moi well, sue, if you'd like to hear more...pull up a chair...and let me bore ya...LOL here is a nice warm fire...I am going to light up my pipe...it is snowing outside(ok, it is 90 degrees, but we can dream, can't we? LOL) about almost 9 years ago. Sept 5th 1998, to be exact. I bought my first computer, a MAC, actually, and got on the internet. The very first thing that I did, was looked up "Tourette Syndrome". It is something that has plagued me most of my life; it is something that had sent me to self-confinement; it is something that my parents were in denial of... although I knew a lot about it, I wanted to know more... so, I did the search and something caught my eyes..."TS Chatroom" wow... I clicked on the link, it took me to the OLD MGH chatrooms. In that room, there were big smiley faces and happy faces but most of all, I was reading about people talking about TS. LIKE MOI!! PEOPLE JUST LIKE MOI! HOW CAN THAT BE???? in my almost 40 years on this planet, I had only met less than a handful of people with TS and most of them was in passing...but now, in this TS chatroom, there were chatters abound with TICS. WOW! So, I stuck around, introduced moiself and met a lot of wonderful folks on the internet... a month later, 19 of the chatters decided to meet at the National TS conference in Washington DC. We conjured up a signal, a yellow ribbon, to be worn on our lapels or shirt to denote that we were from the TS chatroom. Well, yours truly, moi, decided to wear a gigantus yellow ribbon that covered his whole front side. LOL And moi also wore those fake eye glasses with the fake eyes... anyways, as soon as moi walked into the hotel lobby, Lara(long time supportive member of everyone) called out, "moi??" her MSG, I mean, ESP, shone through and called me out...I immediately went over to hug her and others that were sitting with her. With her was BradHawk from Seattle(he is a TSer that used to chat in the chatroom) and Sue from Boston (sue's father was Pter of the OLD SOS forum over there at BT. He and Mrs. Alpho became the guardians of the SOS forum. Pter passed away a few years ago and sue lurks around here, I am sure of...LOL) We hugged and I had tears in my eyes...then, the rest of us met. The future Mrs. Moi was also there with her daughter(and we were JUST friends for a long time after that! LOL) So, throughout the weekend, the 19 of us hung around, hugging and talking and had tons of fun. That first night, we borrowed one of the hotel rooms and we all had pizza. And because most of us were new to the internet. The computer lingoes were still fresh in our minds. The meeting in person was surreal...so, I walked out of the room and said, "BRB" it was then, that people really knew I was a cut up...LOL Even later on that night. Lara, being from Australia, hung out at the lobby with Mr. Hawkman. They are night owls as well as yours truly. So the three of us decided to drive around DC and we took along a total stranger that has TS and the four of us got into moi's car. We drove around, got hungry, decided to take Lara to a Pancake house. The whole trip took us over 4 hours...we ended up in George Town, Maryland, and we would drive by the same, "Maryland, 35 miles" about 3 times...we laughed, drove to a deadend. Drove to a place called "kiss and park". Went through stop signs cause they were on the SIDES of the street and moi can't see worth a dang... Everytime moi would make a right turn during a red stop light, Lara would yell, "moiiiiiiiiiii, what are you doing!!" We then have to remind her that we drive on the WRONG side of the road vs. Australians and that it is legal here in the U.S to turn right during red light as long as there were no traffic coming... Ahhhhh...so, finally, exhausted...we drove back to the hotel...no Pancake house...but Hawkman being OCD'ed...was determined to get Pancakes... we asked the concierge where the Pancake house was...he said, "it is right behind the hotel!" Need I tell you, the pancakes never tasted better. Lara got her taste of the Pancake house and none of us got any sleep. LOL The rest of the weekend was filled with some great times...the parting was hard...but...we all knew then, that we have found eachother for a reason...that we have bonded for a reason(we already bonded in the chatroom, it just got bona fide in person). sweet memories til this day...well, time to head to the bed I hope this story won't make me the bread killer... cheerio! |
daisymay and Wren,
I would be happy to send some of the rain there. It has been years since I saw my lawn this green without appling the water myself. There was enough to flood a local Wal-Mart here. We need a break and I am for sure Curious does too. It was nice today with sunny skies. It need to stay dry so our plants will grow. Nithy, night Darlene:hug: |
WAKE UP!!!
Good morning all!!!! sorry for the screaming but it looked like this thread was about to die..... |
Good morning!!!
It's a better morning for me now. I was pulled awake with fear this morning. My youngest was on the phone (pregnant with graves, hepatitis, hyperthyroidism, etc.). She was crying hysterically. She was having some bleeding at 24 weeks. The doctor sent her to the labor and delivery dept of the hospital and went to see her. They immediately put her on a fetal monitor and little Jonathan is doing well. He determined that she wasn't going into labor and that she and baby are maintaining as best as can be. She's home on "bed and pelvic rest". I'm so thrilled that all seems well, but this is wearing on everyone so much...the constant crisis and fear for two lives' well-being. On a brighter note, my oldest had her first OB appt. and all is well. The miscarriage the month before hasn't effected anything! She has her ultrasound a week from today. My little man is chipper and so sweet. He told me that I'm beautiful and he loves me. Ah, the world was right for a minute. :) I've had my coffee, it's a beautiful day (now)...let's party! I need a celebration! hehe Thank you all for rescuing!!! Here's mine with a "twist". ;) Love yu'uns! KD aka TK |

And curious, you are pretty wonderful yourself...I am not so wonderful once you get to meet me in person ;) And to the rest of you special folks...that make this forum "tic" I sincerely applaud you all...it makes my heart "tic" so, now I guess I have to share this one last bit...it is about the meeting at our weeding...I hope it don't bore you to tears...but I do want to announce that I still can't believe our friends from the forums came...we feel so honored and blissed...and yes, I married the most wonderful woman in the world... My last thread for awhile {have to get back to work, ((((HUGS TO ALL))))) } ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ well, for the moi's, it was the perfect day... The whole week, the future Mrs. moi (from now on will be referred to as mm)prayed for the weather to be around 77 degrees, light breeze, sunny and warm... she got her wish... It started out that we got up, moi was calm and collected and mm was a little nervous...then, the gang came for breakfast. Mr. and Mrs. Alffe had prior engagements so they didn't come. But ducky, batty, kat, Dale, and Doody breath came. (some of them lurks only these days) We had stuffed French(freedom? LOL) toast and scrambled eggs... lots of laughter as always... Batty stayed three blocks from us, and mm needed a little hand, so she volunteered to come help mm out and even drive her to the weeding... BradHawk (TS chatroom dude) stayed with us but didn't get up until almost noon(he's a night owl and still running on Washington State Time). LOL So he missed the breakfast and then we dashed out the door. I was running a little late with all the plans because I was going to go earlier to set up the chairs...and then I left the Tiki Torch at the other house that is about 20 minutes away. So, Bradhawk and I drove to my other(mom's) house and while there, I wanted to show Brad the tree(the big one that was in the movie, "WAR") which is about half a mile down where the other house was... so, I dropped him off at the tree, went to the house and got the torches and my wedding dress(ok, suit, ties, shoes, blah blah blah). (up to this point, the only person that knew what I was wearing was merewood (another member of the old SOS forum) because she was my fashion consultant...she took me shopping for the weeding outfit, got me an awesome discount{you HAVE got to go shopping with this woman! She can get discounts like you can't believe! I got a jacket, a nice shirt, pants, belt, two pairs of shoes, about $500.00 worth of clothes for $200.00} she got me sale prices BEFORE the sale(it was next day and she insisted that they give it to me the day before. LOLOLOL) and then I hid it at my mom's house. So, special thanks to my fashion consultant! Otherwise I'd shown up at my weeding in Jeans and Denim Jacket{that I love but nobody wanted me to wear. LOL})) Then I headed back to pick Brad up and off we went... the weeding took place at a place called Traditions. We had it outside of Traditions in the area where there is a beautiful water view with marshes dressing around the banks. Centuries old live oak trees surround this area and it was simply picturesque... the breeze was nice and warm and NOT one mosquitoR in sight...not even the nasty sand gnats... just what mm wanted. (when we planned an outside weeding, mm's number one concern was the mosquitoRs and Gnats...not money, not how it would go, not the weather, number one concern, BUGS! ROFL...) (during this outing, mm had her shares of troubles...LOL she was a bit rushed by family members and was running amok...but when Batty came by the house, she took over, took charge, got my bride to settle down and out the door and ON TIME, THANKS! Battski!! She also taught my bride how to count to 10 in 5 different languages...LOLOLOL) But the chairs we've ordered were dropped off about 50 yards from where the weeding would take place... now, with only about 45 minutes to set up, get dressed, and get ready...I begun to panic... I looked at the chairs...128 chairs in my head was nothing, but when it was 50 yards away...LMAO.... So, Brad and I ran to the chairs...and because I didn't wanted to get too tired for later, I grabbed three chairs(that is my excuse and I am staying with it. LOL) while Brad grabbed 5 chairs on EACH ARM! and we ran to the other place...I timed it, it took us 3 minutes to do the whole sha-bang... now I am really panicking...so while Brad went back for more chairs, I had a lightbulb moment and drove the car over to the chairs, and then it made things faster and easier.. so we got the chairs set up, and now it was time to dig the holes for the torches... Well, ya know, I had planned on bringing a BIG shovel, but in my haste, I'd forgot about it. So when I was at my mom's house, I grabbed a TINY spade... well, the ground was VERY VERY HARD and the spade barely made a dent, but I was digging at it anyways...but really really panicking... at this time, the first guests have arrived...I looked at the clock, it was 25 minutes before the weeding...*sweat *sweat *sweat... Brad took over and told me to go get dressed... So, I took off to go inside Traditions to go change. Well, as soon as I stepped in the door, Latrice, our weeding coordinator came up to me and said, "MOI, now DON'T panic (what does she mean by that, by saying DON'T panic I AM gonna panic! I already was! LOLOLOL), do you know anything about stereos?" Well, I do ,some, but at that moment, all I can think of is: I've gotta get dressed so I can go out and get married and I've only got a few minutes!!! Out of my peripheral view, I can see more cars pulling up and I said unto her, "ummm, some, what happened?" Latrice's brother, Dre, was the DJ and apparently he was trying to super load the wires and it blew it up. So, here I am, trying to think of what to do next. Dre is from Atlanta, Ga. and is doing us a favor because of Latrice(who works with mm; is a nursing student; sings; and really helped us coordinated the events) and I am drawing total blank... then I said, OK, go shop for a stereo somewhere and I'll pay for it, try and find somebody to go with you... then I went to change. And I want to mention this particular point which you'll get later...I had to pee really bad, and being so nervous, I peed all over the toilet seat...I ran to the sink to get some paper towels to try and clean it up, father-in-law to be showed up and started talking to me while I had wet napkin on my hand...he urged me to get dressed and showed me the time...I threw the paper towel away and prayed to the toilet gods to clean the stall somehow... Anyhow, I managed to change and by the time I got out, there were MANY MANY people outside already...people were ON time! LOL Dre was no where to be found (later on I found out that someone brainstormed for him to go to the BX to get a stereo from there and return it later, LOL) and I walked out the door to greet folks... speaking of folks, and part of what made our weeding special to us was this: over half of them were from out of town. mm's family all showed up from Pa, and a lot of her friends drove down from Pa as well. Then there were special forum folks, from everywhere in the country. Then there was mere who drove all the way from Charleston and her daughter Ry from Hilton Head. on top of that, there were people of every rainbow under the sun... we have the whites, we have the blacks, we have the middle eastern, and we have the Asians... mm has a huge family and friends base while I only had my mom and two brothers...so my mom brought her friends in, they were mostly Japanese but nobody knew the difference. ROFL... we loved the diversity that was there and from all over the country...we are sooooo very blessed!! Either way, folks sat and settled...Brad got all the tiki torches in but we never got to lit them...ROFL.... Eldon, a friend of ours played the music on his guitar to settle the guests in. Then, everyone got in place (or where they were supposed to be) and Latrice started to sing to prelude the weeding... when everyone was settled and quiet. Eldon took over and played the "wedding song" on his acoustic guitar while he sang...his voice was soothing and tender that flowed in the soft warm breeze and melodically caressed everyone's ears... Our Pastor, Steve, headed toward the three oak trees where we would be joined...(the oak trees were formed in triangular formation with the two infront facing us) my mom and I followed and I sat her down and fall into my position... then, mm's children, Jenn(her maid of honor) and Brad(my best man), walked down toward the open lane and stopped half way while mm was escorted by her parents. They met the children half way and exchanged while mm's parents walked toward the front and sat while her children escorted her to moi. Brad gave her mom's hand to me and gave me his blessings... the rest becomes a little foggy because by this time, my mind was total blank... but there were a lot of tissues and tears(happy ones) and somewhere during the middle of the weeding, I reached into my pocket and realized that I'd forgotten to put the ring into my jacket... you see, earlier, while I was rushing, I had put everything into a bag and it had checks to go to the musicians, to the Pastor. And it also had the ring...and wouldn't you know it, I got everyone's money covered but not my own (_!_)... so, the rest of the time while Pastor Steve was "mumbling" I was looking at a palm leave thinking that if worse comes to worse, I'll just go and pick the leaves of the palm tree and tie it into a ring around mm's finger... well, my mind got blanker and blanker and when Steve got to the part, "moi, do jews half a sin, to shower to your communist pride??" Translated: yo dude, do you have a sign to show your commitment to the bride?" And I gave him a "just a moment" gesture and walked over to Brad, and whispered in his ear, "Brad, I forgot the ring" Brad's voice, trembling, "are you serious??" "Yeah, can you go get it for me? It is in the car and I think it is in a bag somewhere..." off he dashed and I saw my brother Frank followed him and everyone was baffling grinning(they must have figured it out...LOL) then I turned to my bride and the pastor and whispered, I'd forgotten the ring... Pastor Steve then announced it loudly... of course, the crowd laughed and that was actually a relief..... then, we said our vows to eachother...mm's was so sweet and wonderful... Mine was three pages long that entailed my birth to the future...LOLOLOL but I couldn't barely made it through the whole thing without choking...It was probably the most sincerest I have ever been in my life, and BELIEVE ME, I am sincere most of the time about everything... somehow, it got done and we blew our boogers and wiped our tears and we walked from the crowd to the reception area with now, OUR children. They called me "DAD" We hugged...(tears) ------------------------------ well, the rest was the reception and dancing and people having fun... it was a perfect day, with perfect friends and family at a perfect place. Even the imperfections were perfect...most of all, I've got a perfect mate for me, for life... I am ever so honored, and grateful, and blessed to all of the forum members that were there and NOT there...because I know that those that were not there, were there with us... my dad would've been very happy for me, I think...I only wish he could've lived to see that... now, the kicker, remember when I've pee'd all over the toilet?? Sometimes during the reception, my brother Frank came over to me and asked if he can drive to my house(since our new house is only 5 minutes away) to use the can... I asked him why he doesn't use it there, he said, "Some (_!_)hole peed all over the toilet and I ain't gonna ***** there!" without arguing, I handed him my keys... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We didn't leave right after our weeding. We cooked dinner the following Mon and had a special night with the forum members. To thank them, to honor them, but most of all, to hug them tightly to let them know that we love them... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I leave you with this fairy tale that had came true, for me...because I sincerely believe it now, that fairy tales CAN come true...for any one of us... to all you special people here at this Neurotalk,I thank you for everything...even when you don't know it, you have helped me and countless others... til we "meet" again ta ta for now..
