Bob was in the shower, so while I was cleaning the bird cages I turned on the oldies music on Sirius. They were featuring 1962!
I was twelve years old, and I can't believe that 46 years later I was knowing all the lyrics, bopping around the kitchen lining bird cages. It felt good to be twelve again, even just for a few minutes. Duke of Earl, Norman, Johnny Angel, Peppermint Twist, Baby It's You, Soldier Boy, Wanderer, I Know, Can't Help Falling in Love, Big Girls Don't Cry...
