Well thats the last time I just yada yada on forever with Sandy on the phone LOL I turn on the TV to find we are surrounded by tornados! I think someone has hexed my wonderful weather! Seriously many people were injured and lost their homes 20 miles down the road from me (the same area my neuro is in) My thoughts and prayers are with those people tonight.

weegot5kiz 04-28-2008 08:04 PM

love and hugs to alla yas...

the shower curtain and liner are now ON, but there's still no hot water...

:eek::confused::eek:

de KITTY is now brung over, and exploring every inch of the new space.

:wink::D:wink:

dinner is cooking, chores are done, shopping is finished, and *I* had THREE (count 'em!) THREE Belikin beers, thus, am a silly girl (three is one over my MS-imposed limit, lol... but I *needed* it, for medicinal purposes...)

:D:o:D

SandyC 04-28-2008 08:42 PM

Kay, don't you just love when your done and you can sit back and soak it all in with a beer? :-)

FinLady 04-29-2008 07:28 AM

Renee, Glad you're ok. :hug: Saw the images on the news, and my heart goes out to everyone who was in the path.

Kay, Glad the home's done. I know about the kitty needing to sniff out the new area. Mine do that too. :)

Vonn, :hug: Sorry to hear you might be flaring.

Sandy, Glad you had a great b-day.

TK, wow, I remember 18. The rules of the household did NOT change at all until I first came home from college. Chores were the same, but curfew became "here's a house key. Try not to wake us up". :D

Frank, Hope you're doing ok today.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There's a small dusting of snow on the ground this morning. :eek: They are calling for maybe a little more tonight. :eek::eek:
LOL, but it won't stay around. It's in the 50s today and the 60s tomorrow.
My stepmom's surgery went very well. They saw something else in there that looked funky so they did a biopsy on that too, which we won't know until next week sometime what the results will be. I have a feeling the radiation from her cancer treatment might have done some damage as well as help. :(
But I am so proud of her. Dad told me that my nephew asked if grandma was worried. So she took him to the computer room and explained the procedure for him from an online source to put his mind at ease. Dad says it was really cool to watch.
NaeNae 04-29-2008 07:33 AM
Jenn hugs to you and prayers to your stepmom!
Kayo- sometimes ya just gotta booze it up aherm this from mojito Mary here LOL!
Last night we had no more storms its a nice clear day today,thankfully no lives were lost that they have found yet but lots and lots of damage, I dreamt about it all night.
tkrik 04-29-2008 10:14 AM
Vonn - Sorry to hear you may be in a flare. I hate those dam* things. Try to rest and let us know how you are doing.
Frank - I can totally relate. I have been having rough nights too although I don't completely wake up I feel it when I get up in the a.m.
Renee - Glad you are safe and sound. Hoping your good weather comes back soon.
Kay - How exciting! I hope you are sitting back and enjoying the new house.
Fin - I'll keep your stepmom in my prayers.
I go for the last of my urodynamics studies today. UGH! Cystoscopy! After that we will go over all the results of the tests that I have had done.
DD now 18 :) had a great birthday. She was on top of the world. Funny thing about the rules - she took her friends home after we had dinner last night and called me to do our 10:00 p.m. check in and to see what time I wanted her home. LOL. The rules didn't change.:D
Hey Kay ... a couple of weeks ago, I had a 50th wedding anniversary celebration .. and *ENJOYED* the dry-red wine ... it had a bit of a zest ... and it was GOOOOOD!! I think I may of overstepped my MS boundaries - ah, heck, I'm too old for boundaries ... have at-er GIRL!! Now I'm afraid to just have a bottle in the house ... but, MAYbe!!
well, I did it - slowly! I cleared out everything in my sewing room.... sorted and tossed stuff, moved stuff to it's new home (like my painting stuff) ... and seperated colors and UFOs (unfinished objects) to work on NOW!!
have school to attend for a bit ... and some paperwork, and then FACE THE GIANT ... bills!! :yikes: ...
guess what I thought of today?? I'm thinking of giving a letter of 'invite' to the children in the park (we have a small park) ... for a 'READING HOUR' when school gets out in June .. maybe one day a week ... maybe I can influence them on their attitude and language (some of them have a pretty nasty tongue .. because their parents talk like that!) ... and I can read them Tom Sawyer ... so if any of you have some good book ideas .. let me know!!
(I'm trying to face my GIANT paying my rent ... this will help me find favor with everyone in the park for doing a good thing, right?)
have a great day! my thumb is still tingling .. but, I'm good! Off to school I go!!
weegot5kiz 04-29-2008 10:18 AM
morning all
Renee glad you are all safe in the east
Vonn hope you feel better, what age are the kids Vonn
Cayo dont kill yourself ok dont over do it
eveyone else have a good day
well had to cancel neros the neuros appt i got the flu this has not been the best 3 months let me tell you, I called and asked him what he wanted me to do, and he was honest and said he would rather not have the flu bug in his office, which i totally understand, that is why i called,
I remember once at a docs appt with my two little ones this lady has there in office with her kid sitting there with the chicken pox (which I have never had) , i go up to the nurse and asked her should she have her kid in here with chicken pox, the nurse freaked out on the lady chased her and the kid out of the office, that was an interesting visit needless to say my kids got pox, i still have not had them so I figure somewhere i must of gotten them,it must of been such a mild case that it went unnoticed, because, i sweat bullets for close to ten weeks while my two shared the pox,
needless to say i am going stir crazy 3+ months of bs bs bs bs first viral then broncitis then flare now flu, actually it started with inflamed bladder and uti in dec end of november, please tell me this isnt how its gonna be forever, cause this is bs bs bs bs as i recently posted, this is not for me, sorry about the whine i am just so (6,21,3,11,9,14)*sick and tired of being sick and tired
anywho not a good day, just frustrated
I promise, good buddy! I be restin' LOTS... between bursts. :cool:
sometimes the "hits just keep on comin'" with MS... sometimes they come in waves... 2002-3 was like that for me... pneumonia, pleurisy, bronchitis, urinary-tract infection, ear infection, allergic reaction to antibiotics, blah blah blah...
I try to remember that time (kinda hazy) and be extremely thankful and grateful for when I am feeling WELL !!
:hug: hope your bad times end SOON, dear!
PS: I decoded it... LOL, Frank, you so BAD...
next lesson in Kitty-World is gonna be "Do NOT play with the tempting-dangling mosquito nets draped over my bed, or you will PAY dearly!"
oh, and she had to UN-make the bed... the pillows are now all over the floor, darn it!
