haven't been around much, as it's moving-week around here.

I'd say we're about 70% done...

I swept and cleaned the guesthouse, and after that, I needed a THREE HOUR siesta!

but I'm doing it in little bursts, early morn, and evening when it's cool, and resting a bunch in between.

Good morning all :) Have my usual cup of coffee and trying to wake up.;)

The relaxing day I was supposed to have yesterday turned into a busy one, lol. Some of our friends called at the last minute to hang out. They wanted to show off their home's new floor plan now that it's all done and to go out to dinner. It was a good time though. :)

I also spent sometime researching the Y near us. They seem to have a cool setup, so need to take a look at the facilities. I've heard it's nice, but need to see for myself. LOL, hubby hasn't seen me this happy in awhile and he likes the fact I'm looking into this stuff to keep me from being a hermit.

Vonn - Great idea! I did rest yesterday and it was a good thing because I had to work last night.

Renee - I was there but no one answered the door! :D

Kay - Wow, girl! Moving is a lot of work. I am so proud of you for pacing yourself, something I don't do well. You must be thrilled to move in to the house now.

Fin - I am glad to hear that you are looking in to other things to do. It makes such a difference when you can't/don't work.

My DD turns 18 today! We will be celebrating this evening with her friends and family. She is so excited to be 18 now. Somehow she thinks all the rules will be changing today. LOL. NOT! She will still need to do chores, check in at 10:00 p.m. to let me know where she is and when she will be home, etc. The only difference is that she is legally an adult, maturity wise she is 16 if that with a mixed up concept of independence. LOL. I guess we were all that way once.

My b-day was great! The boys helped me get some stuff over to the neighbors burn pile and Nik mowed my front yard. Then we relaxed and watched Dazed and Confused and ate some cake.

Hey Frank, I could have had a baby at 11 but I wont tell you how. lol I had Chris at age 20 and Nik at age 22. I am a proud 42, not ashamed at all (my mom hides her age). One thing is weird though. I was counting and realized I may not live twice my age now. lol

hey Frank ... a bit chilly here ... a flake or two ... nothing that's making any attempt at staying tho ...

it's a good day .. lots to do .. .like always ...

um, I'm been having 'exasperations' while I sleep - my hands/arms fall asleep and I wake up to 'shake them up' (feels like I'm wearing boxing gloves) ... and this happens almost every night now ... and then I can only sit for a little while, then get up and 'try' to move .. it's slow, and I walk like I 'just filled my drawers' ... but still mobile ...

no more insurance ... so, I'll just have to deal with this one day at a time ... would this be considered secondary, progressive? it's just that there's pain everyday - and more and more 'itty bitty' nerve issues coming and staying ...

sorry vonn :hug:I know what you are going through i wake up because the numbness hurts so badly it wakes me, not sure what med was working for you but i am yet to find one that helps me, it is annoying to say the least, odd way to wake up too, almost as annoying as when my little one!(18yrs now) would stand next to me and stare at me till i woke up omg that is the most horrifying way to wake up cause when you are sleeping you actually know some one is staring at you. :Bang-Head:

it did stop snowing and switched over to rain, it was snowing big time :yikes:... i could not even see the house across the blvd thats how hard it was snowing:holysheep:

now - it's all in the attitude too ... figured THAT out at Christmas ... I'm okay with it - I just don't expect to do too much the next day when I get up every 2-3 hours.... but just keep plugging away ...

today - I've been dealing with a burning/tingling/prickly feeling in my right THUMB ... hmmm, maybe hitting it with a hammer will feel better! LOL

well, I cleared out my sewing room ... like I said - CLEARED it out .. now to reorganize it ... ya-hoo!

off to hammer something! woo-hooo ...
