Cayo - Glad you are starting to settle in a bit. Follow-through can be done with careful planning and tactics. But we won't go in to that here.
What happened with all these UTI's? I have only had 1 in my life and hope to never have one again. I do drink a lot of cranberry juice everyday. Urologist said I could go on meds to help me empty but where I am at right now it is not necessary. I opted out of the meds as I am trying to stay on the minimum amount of meds possible. We are going to wait until I absolutely need them. Take care all of you! |
TK -- saw your other thread. I hope you can stay awake tonight. I often have insomna, but If I was told I had to stay awake I would probably be out. Good luck with your test.
Kay and Renee -- I actually have never had an UTI, but have been tested for them 3 times this year due to bladder urgency issues. Hope yours go away soon. Frank -- glad your arm is feeling better Sandy -- tried smiling at the mirror. Now I need to go see if it is cracked:eek: Not much is going on here. My student did a good job in defending her thesis this morning. I gave her a mug as a graduation present that says, "Smart women elect to make a difference." She is going to law school at Southern Illinois in the fall. Starting to pack for my trip. Nausea seems to be going away.:D |
thanks, Frank .. I like those 'oldy goldy' book ideas .. I was even thinking about the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe series ... and Wrinkle in Time, and Wind in the Door ..
when do I sleep? don't .. up every 2-3 hours ... even take tylonel PM ... doesn't pay to call the neuro anymore about all these new symptoms and issues .. no money no insurance ... and they have no answers anyways and just say 'well, just take it one day at a time' and 'listen to your body' ... had a laugh today - got a card from Shared Solutions .. congratulating me on one year of therapy .. it says to go out and celebrate my achievement ... hmmm ... oh, Kay ... when a recruit responds to their drill (sgt) ... only in the marines do they call a non-combat officer/sergeant sir .. don't ask me why .. . when I was in service, my command response was: "YES, DRILL SERGEANT" .. if we said 'sir' ... we had to drop and do push-ups ... when I got gas today - one guy asked me what my license plate stood for "LTHS4ME" ... and I said Lighthouse for me ... I'm going to build one ... he was quite impressed ... now, to find LAND ... will have to check with the county for any deliquent property tax payments ... it's going to happen ... because, well, uh .... I can barely walk ... it's an EVERYDAY issue lately ... sorry I didn't say anything earlier ... BUT, I got an A and a B in my last 2 courses!! woo hoo!! |
good going on the grades Vonn, how bad is the walking issue? is this with the help of a walker or cane? or without any aid?, have you looked into state asst for medical Vonn?, please dont over do it:hug:
and i like your choice in books narnia series is entertaining |
