Good morning all Another beautiful day of storms, lol.

I found out that waiting until the inspection before I left my job actually worked out. The agency passed! I'm stopping by today to visit and bringing donuts to help them celebrate.

Well, I better get off here. our satellite is fuzzing and there's thunder in the distance. Oh the fun, lol.

Hi all! I am fine!!!!!! After five smashes to my right skeeter bite and two to the left, I am clear for a year!!!! Whoohoo! The radiologist said I had changes to my density and he just wanted to get a closer look. They used a smaller paddle for the smashing, it looked like a fly swatter haha. It didn't hurt at all believe it or not. Even the tech was surprised. I do have a bruise on my right side because they were trying to get close to the muscle where one change was.

Thanks for the prayers! I haven't heard from Renee since yesterday morning. She said she'd call me in a few days.

I'm so happpy you are fine. They had to do the smaller paddle thing with mine, too because mine are so dense to begin with. I'm glad it didn't hurt, but let me tell you that does hurt on larger breasts!! I thought I was going to come out looking like the woman in that cartoon someone posted a few pages back.

I am thinking the four ibuprofins I took before getting there helped. lol

Sandy, Great news! I am going to have to remember that -- take ibuprofins prior to smashing. Because I am "more endowed" they always take extra films of me and do one where they just flatten the front portion -- OUCH!!!

We had alot of bad storms last night and are suppposed to get more today. It is also supposed to be in the mid 90s this weekend. What happened to Spring?

Getting ready for visit from my sis and niece. Then, we are off to Ohio.

I have an infantile urge to say, "Told you so!!!"

But I won't.

Thanks for the good news.

Sandy - That is great news! You must be so relieved. I know I would be.

Fin - That is so sweet of you to bring everyone donuts. Any leftovers? I'm hungry. LOL

Barb - That is great news. 1 new lesion in a year is good. I am happy for you and hope this trend continues for you. Better yet, I hope and pray that you will have no new lesions within the next year. That would be great!

Wiz - Good luck with all the testing. Let us know how it goes. It's sad that now we spend our time scheduling dr appoints, tests, med deliveries, when to take meds, naps, etc., etc., etc. I am far too young for this. LOL.

My Dad always said that he retired so that he can go to all these silly dr appoints, routine tests, etc. If he were still working he wouldn't be able to do all of that as he would lose his job. Mind you, both my parents are in excellent health with very little issues (both are in their 70's). It's just this routine tests that eat up their time. They do find the time to workout 3 times a week at the local community college's exercise class for elderly. For having 10 kids, my Mom's abs are incredible!

Vonn - I hope that Beaver Dam works out for you. You have been talking about moving there for a while. I will pray that the timing is right for you. The new apartment sounds great other than the stairs. But there are work arounds and I know you will come up with solutions. Let us know how it all turns out and when the big move is. Oh, sorry you have to get rid of your miter saw. I have been eyeing them for a while now. Maybe you can hang on to it or store for later use.

Hi to everyone else! Hope you are all having a good day.

Per Vonn's request and some self training on my part, I posted one of my paintings in the Creative Corner. I spend this morning working on photographing artwork. Got the tripod out, the camera, the painting and got busy. Boy, I still have a lot to learn about lighting and placement. I think I got the Photoshop stuff down. All I did was crop out the background. Photography as well as digital arts is a new skill for me and it feels so good to learn a new skill; something totally out of my skill "bank" and comfort zone.

Thanks for the good news.

Go ahead, I can take it. lol

My mom was freaking completely out. I should have known not to tell a woman who had breast cancer two years ago and just had brain surgery that her daughter needed to go back to get more films. That woman called me a whole bunch of times asking the same question over and over..."What time is your appointment? Call me as soon as you know something." lol She even called and told some family and had me practically getting chemo.

And that is why neither of my parents know I have MS

So glad that it was nothing! Big sigh of relief for you!
