Here is a slide show of the storms that went through the suburbs here. The 12th picture is the tornado in it's glory ripping through Peotone where my brother lived. He said it was about five miles from him though thank goodness. It was a nasty nasty tornado.

That slide show was amazing. You were just saying you didn't want to move to Oklahoma because of tornadoes. I guess it doesn't matter where we live anymore. They are everywhere.

No kidding Becky! This is really not the norm here. We even had a warning and I got Jim up. We never get tornados where I am. Freaky for sure! But I think you still have us beat on tornado massiveness. lol

wowza, Sandy ... we had lines of storms go thru here last night ...but not like you got! it's been raining since about 6am this morning ..

have been studying for a quiz, then have to write a paper (3 pages) ... I procrastinated yesterday and tried to get stuff boxed up and organized without pooping out dealing with the heat .. the heat won!

cooler today ... now I can be productive!

Vonn - I hope it stays cool enough today so that you can get things done.

No updates here. I am hoping the fatigue that I have been experiencing subsides and I can get things done. I talked to DBF last night. He is so cute. He's all proud of himself for the work that he has done in the dining room. LOL. He was telling me how much I was going to love it now that everything is unmasked, vertical blinds are back up, etc. So, I am hoping to go over today and help boost his ego. Keeps for a happy relationship. LOL

Hey everyone! It's going to be a scorcher today so everyone be safe and stay cool. Jim and I have to go out to my cousins house but not until about 3pm. We are supposed to get more storms today but isolated. Watch, they will start when we leave. lol

I finished my laundry last night. Wow, it was piled up. lol

It's supposed to be between 98-100 degrees here today. I can't even go to the mailbox without getting dizzy and weak.

Kevin said he was going to try and fry an egg on the street!! :p

Hey that's our forecast today! LOL. And, don't laugh, it feels kind of humid out. We are supposed to have 23% humidity. Believe it or not, you can tell the difference when the humidity goes from 8% to 23%.
