I do know a lady that sells hers on e-bay and has been doing well with that as well as selling her quilt patterns. This would be a great option for you. Think about it, give it a try on something like e-bay, and go for it.

I hope everyone has a good day!

Yes, Tricia... I will be looking at my own website .. just to get situated here with the move and getting out of here ... before the heat kicks in big-time ... it's just so hard to figure this all out alone ... use to do it before I was sick - now this is pretty stressful ... found some postcards last night, I bought while in Alaska, gosh - to go back there! ;) thanks for the info on your friend!!

will keep you posted ...

**UPDATE** in my last week of classes before the final starts on Friday ... then break until July 5 ...then 5 classes to graduate!

consider this, dear one...

I have three people frantically soaping, sweeping, and spraying, as our new house suffers its FIRST massive invasion of ARMY ANTS !!

there's bazillions of 'em, and we're trying to detour the marchers.

I'm just setting down at the computer for a small break between stomping, whacking, and ("OUCH !! it BIT me, honey !!") hollering.

Finlady, How much tea do you add the 1C sugar to 1C water? My tea maker makes 2qts & I added most all of that. It tasted like a glass of tea with 1 pack of sugar. Thats about what I usually add at the restaurant. Are you saying that if a add a tsp of sugar to my glass of tea, I am drinking 'southern style tea'? Well, I guess thats not 1tsp but a little more.

Lor, I use 1 cup of sugar to one gallon of tea. By the next day it tastes really good. I let my tea age. lol

I am getting nervous about our appointment tomorrow. I do hope this new urologist has some kind of answer for Jim. There just has to be. He's already feeling another UTI. Sheesh.

I will start a new thread when we get back. Wish us luck tomorrow. Today is bill day too. Argh.

weegot5kiz 06-10-2008 12:09 PM

Kay & Frank - try cinnamon. It works great. Ants hate it and will stop dead in their tracks. I just had this problem as well as last year. They were coming in from behind my stove and ref. I pulled them out, put the cinnamon where they were coming in, and they stopped.

Since it isn't too sweet, I've been drinking sweet tea today. I make my tea with 'regular' tea & a touch of herbal flavor for more flavor. Two yrs ago I used to add peach soda, for flavor & found I liked the LITTLE bit of carbonation it sometimes had. I guess I have always made sweetened tea, but with less sugar. I add sugar with the tea into my tea maker. That way it disolves better than adding sugar to your glass of tea. I'm an iced tea nut, but I'll shut up about tea now. :p
