Oh Chit :eek: :mad: My dd took me to get my state ID, I decided to tell the DMV I have epilepsy, I told earlier. It 'only' took FOUR hours! The 1st place told me I need my birth certificate, not just my driver's lisence & to go to another place. I went home & got it to give them. The 2nd place said I needed different ID & so on to three more places. The last one told me to call ______ for__?__. I called & she said I need a certain paper that said it was a specific paper. I decided I'd use the paper one of the places gave & see if thats OK. He never asked for that specific paper & took my picture and gave me my ID. My dh said "thats the government for ya"

JMiller...how sweet of you to recommend such a treatment...but too late, I tried all the "home" remedies before I saw the ole sawbones. Duct tape does not work for some things!!

I have an ice tea maker...I just put the sugar in the bottom of the pitcher and wait for the hot water.

Momma's kids, I put a little sugar & the bags in a coffee filter then put that in the 'tea holding area'
I just wanted to say, it's storming right now. Both dogs are going crazy. So am I cuz I called my DD & she is driving home. They said not to go out in this (on TV) My son is out too, but I have a feeling he is OK. My dd is 19 & my son is 22. Besides my dogs, I have you.

Hi everyone! I am in Ohio visiting family and on a really slow server so this will be short. My hometown got hit by a tornado on Thursday and I guess there was alot of flooding. I left about 4 hours before the storms hit. My house is ok, but some friends have some damage. Hope everyone is okay. I will catch up when I get back to Illinois at the end of the week. What is the notofication ??? Just noticed it. I am doing ok, just pretty tired and this heat is *******.

Nothing special going on here today. I got Jim's medical records all filed, hole punched and in a binder for the urologist on Wednesday. I even tagged the hospital urology admissions for him. lol

My contractor came by and finished the baseboards too! They are so much nicer than the white we had. Now we match the doors. He also sharpened my mower blade for me.

But now, I am off to clean the kitchen and watch tv with my man. Have a great night everyone! I was going to update for Renee but she beat me to it.

I'm not doing good .. I think I'm finally exhausted ... in pain (back around my left waist) ... and frustrated ... not able to find an apartment and living amongst boxes ... many boxes ... :) ... I'll make it ..

I might just get a u-haul truck (the finance company wants my car anyways) .. and load it up .. and drive ... and drive and drive ...

Lor - Sorry you had such a hard time getting a simple I.D. card. Does you state offer some of that online? I know that I can go online and do things like getting a state ID card, renew registration, get a duplicate license, etc. Just something to consider and check in to for future reference.

Momma - I either make my iced tea the semi-old fashioned way - heat water in micro and then put the tea bags in - or I put the tea in a jar and place it outside and make sun tea. Does the tea have a different taste in the ice tea maker?

Sandy - I am impressed. What a good carepartner you are!!! I never would have thought of organizing everything as you did. It is a great idea though, I like it. I wish you guys the best at your appointment tomorrow.

Vonn - Your quilt is beautiful. I really like them. Quilting seems to be coming quite popular as an art form lately. I do know a lady that sells hers on e-bay and has been doing well with that as well as selling her quilt patterns. This would be a great option for you. Think about it, give it a try on something like e-bay, and go for it.
