That has got to be one of the nicest offers I have had in a long time.

Kay does this mean you are applying for citizenship in belize? kind of imagine it might be mandatory

oh, gosh no honey! (wait, Deb won't mind if I call you honey, will she ? :o )

this is just for "permanent residency" (one year residency required)

real "citizenship" (and voting rights and stuff) takes FIVE years.

btw, it just started to RAIN again...

1/3 of my land is still under water from Tropical Storm Arthur... so, we're kinda shiverin' in our boots here.

Can you send a little of that rain to Virginia? My cucumbers and squash are dying because it is so dry.

That really was terrible about the Boy Scouts last night. Thinking of all the families.

Franksangel, you have a nice looking family.

tkrik 06-12-2008 08:32 PM

Kay - I hope the rain has slowed down some. Like Woodhaven asked, could you send some here too?

returned home last yesterday. I am fighting a cold and do not have the energy right now to go through all of the posts since I was gone. Hope everyone is doing ok. We are supposed to get some more severe storms and lots of rain today. My sister and niece are here until Sunday when I will take them to the St. Louis airport. I love spending time with them and playing with my niece, but my sister does not seem to understand ms fatigue.

All of you fellow Illinoisians, take care!!!

Hi to all. Grandma and I are back. We flew about 2,500 miles across country and then put nearly 600 miles on the rental car, packed up 18 boxes and had them shipped, lugged 6 suitcases through two airports, flew another 2,500 miles home and I wonder why I can hardly move now! Exhausted would be an understatement.

Everything went OK for the most part with just a couple of snags that had better become unsnagged soon! Thanks to everyone for the good wishes and prayers. I can't believe what we got accomplished and it could only be because of the prayers and all of the support I felt from here!

Good morning all :) Trying to wake up, and sitting here wondering if coffee can be taken by IV, LOL

A little sore still from yesterday, but it's a good sore - Thank Goodness. Trying to figure out what I can do today and not push to hard. Testing where that wall might be, LOL.

Probably get some small projects done this weekend. LOL, I always seem to do more when hubby's not home. He and a friend are going to a Nationwide (previously Busche) race in KY. My sweetie needs time away, but I'm a little jealous, LOL. He still owes me a NASCAR race. Maybe next year as a b-day present we'll go to daytona. ;)

Have a good day, everyone. (now where did I put that coffee???? :D)

Hey everyone. Can you guys do me a favor? Our dear Judy has just given us some bad news. She has just been told she has breast cancer. Can you help me lift her up in prayer? She posts on the Judy's Inspiration Alley. Thanks.

My update is same old same old. Laundry and bills. lol Guess what though?! My mom has been told she may get her apartment in one to two months rather than a year!!!! SS also told her she should have an answer about early retirement by this next week and she should know about her disability by October! WOW! Jim and I were in shock and happy for her. I just spent close to 800 dollars getting that dern room ready. lol
