Kay, way too cool. Loved the homepage and the pics (except the one about the spider - Yikes!). Neat photos of the ruins.

:grouphug:

WOW! I'm glad I saw this. Kay's web site is spectacular. Um...except maybe for the picture of the momma tarantula ? with the babies stuck on her?

I was up around 4am too ... but, didn't come online ... should of joined yas! then, tried to get some zzz's ... today is going to be a quiet day ..

well, seeing that my appointment for the SSDI determination is a MONTH away ... guess I'll have to figure out how to s-t-r-e-t-c-h my nickels and dimes!! LOL .... It'll work out ...

Hey all! Hope this finds everyone doing well. I need to mow the grass today and do a few loads of laundry. Jim woke up with spasms lifting his legs in the air. Guess that means the new pill isn't working. We'll give it till Tuesday and then report to the doctor. I personally think if they gave him a better anti spasm med he'd lose some of the pain. The new pill only eases the pain but doesn't take the spasms away. We kind of knew it, but wanted to give it a try. Oh well, we tried right?

Hey Frank, the veterans tax exemption apparently passed through one house! We still don't understand the whole thing. Do you know if this means disabled vets will never pay house taxes or is there a limit on it? Right now we have a limit. Once that limit is reached we start paying again under the adapted housing tax exemption. It's all confusing to the brain today. lol

Did anyone hear about the Illinois women who died in China under suspicion? Ummm, yeah.

I'm here, I think. Got a headache. Probably from stressing out over DS's locked up computer. :Bang-Head: Hope to do a bit of shopping today. Gotta get rid of this headache first. Stay cool and pain free y'all.

What about the Baclofen pump? There are people who had no success with a lot of different oral anti-spasmodics but who have a tremendous amount of success with the pump.

International events are continuing to fit the old pattern of the late 1930's, and since I am a nut about history, I have a very unsettling feeling about what is about to take place.

We never learn,..., and the results are ALWAYS the same.

Time to take a nap and hope that I awaken to good international news....

This is why Russia invaded Georgia. They are sending a message.

US, Poland agree to missile defense deal
WARSAW, Poland - Poland and the United States reached an agreement Thursday that will see a battery of American missiles established inside Poland, a plan that has infuriated Russia and raised the specter of an escalation of tension with the region's communist-era master.

Thanks Frank, what good are ya huh? lmao Just kidding. From what I understand it is for vets who are rated at 50% or higher. We already get the adapted housing exemption and it's permanent up to a certain amount and then we start paying taxes minus the exemption. My question is the new bill the gov has passed that to Jim and I says no taxes as long as you are 50% or higher rating for as long as they live in Illinois. I'll call the PVA and ask them, they know everything. hahahaha

Holly, that's been brought up before and we may have to visit it again. Jim hates to have another hole in his body but it may be necessary. Thanks
