Jenn, I know what you mean! I smelled fall last week for sure. I hope your right!!!

That's so sweet about your mom. I am glad it was happy tears.

Trish, good idea. You've been through the wringer the past couple of months. Take a "me" "be" day, you deserve it.

I know what you mean, dear!

ran into a "possible MS symptom checklist" once, and realized that at one point or another during the last twenty years, I've had almost ALL of 'em !!

The list of signs and symptoms mentioned in various sources for Multiple Sclerosis includes the 53 symptoms listed below:

Seeing yall share your artwork all the time I guess i should share mine, although my artwork is done with a quill not a brush hope you all enjoy, i finally wrote something for first time in a couple months or so, there has been no creative flow coming forth so hopefully things will change

""""""Rock n Roll"""""""""""""
rock around the clock set us on fire
opening a whole new youths desire
rock and roll was a new song
as we were told it did not belong
it was an escape, a safe haven
then there was roll over Beethoven
lets not forget good golly miss molly
or the night he left us, buddy holly
there was chubby and the twist
you just had to wiggle it around like this
then there came four lads from across the sea
there music was to set so many rock and roll hearts free
the flower was its power in 67 of that decade
make love not war was a cry that by 69 had begun to fade
rock and roll has come to define many of us in each generation
love, rebels, metal, disco, psychedelic, punk remember that sensation
lets not forget I want to rock and roll all night
yes the music moves me yes rock and roll is alright

hello hello .. I'm BAAAACK!

wah .. got down there - and I wasn't 'on their list' .. but, the doctor saw me anyways (and asked for my 3 pgs of sx, too) ... anyways ... SS people didn't have all the paperwork to them ...

he was quite concerned with all that was going on ... and used his little rubber hammer on me! boy, did my legs twinge, not kick, twinge .. sorta weird ..

and we talked about the anxiety and depression issues ... and the stress!

thanks for your thoughts and prayers this morning ...now it's back in the hands of SSDI ...

loved the poem/song, Frank!!

OH, before I went in to see the doctor .. I added about 5 more sx's ... wah!

Jenn, I get "those" feelings too about my mom ...

a 'stress-break' day for you, Tricia, is in the works... enjoy!!

¿Y cómo está usted?

Voy hoy a tender a mis animales.

today I have vowed to focus only on the positive (been having nightmares and daymares) and rest a lot.

I know what you mean, Trish, I hold my tension in my neck and jaw when I am upset.

and yeah, added to MS spasticity, that's just a real bundle of joy!

it's just now finally HITTING me about the murder of the Hills, and I woke at 3 am, suddenly wanting to lock all the doors and windows...

not good for one's state of mind or relaxation.

we may be living off my SSDI (yeah, both of us, on *my* check!) but compared to the average Belizean, we are "wealthy"

so, I tried to close the front door, but couldn't, as hubby had hooked the brooder box heat lamp for the new baby chickies to the door handle, lol!

so, I settled for pulling in the latchstrings on the screen doors.

yeah, I'm silly at 3 am, I confess... so, today my plan is to rake up the hay under the guinea and bunny cages, and put two more duck moms in protective custody (the nursery), and then NAP NAP NAP the rest of the day away.

:D

I don't know where to start...

Weave -- Hang in there and vent away if you feel like it. We will all be thinking of you.

Frank, I enjoyed your poem.

Jenn, My mother drives me crazy, but I know what you mean. I am glad you had some happy tears. I did not know that your mother had MS.

TK and Kay -- Hope you are able to to get rid of some of that stress and muscle pain. I am glad that you enjoyed your lunch yesterday Tricia. I hope that I can someday meet some of my board buddies. Maybe we need another Illinois get together.

Vonn, Hope you are doing ok and that everything works out with SSDI. 30 symptoms --

Hi Sandy, Renee, and anyone else that I am missing.

I guess Fall is in the air because town is getting crowded with students, house parties are taking place are over town (lots of beer, loud music, and beanbag games), and classes start on Monday. I went in and cleaned my office this morning and then had a doctor's appt. I came away with "only"3 new prescriptions. I have been dealing with dizziness for a few weeks and other more minor problems. I think this trip did me in. Too much driving, walking, and sitting at slot machines (lol). My plan is to relax until next Monday.

weegot5kiz 08-19-2008 12:23 PM

You know I was worried about the drive, especially the night you left we had a tornado touch down a couple towns over power outages constant lighting and thunder for a few hours it was an intense storm, i was worried if you had gotten ahead of it or were following it. sorry you feel blah, but am glad you had a good time, so its worth it what would be a drag hurt like this and not had fun that would bite:hug: I hope you get to feeling better real soon

SandyC 08-19-2008 12:44 PM

Jim just said he might join!!!!! Don't get too excited just yet but he's thinking about it! He asked do we just talk about ms and I told him no, not at all, we talk about crazy stuff too! lol
