aw, honey, that shows you winced and BLINKED right past it...

it was a SCORPION with the babies

I sure am glad my hubby took THAT shot, I would've fallen off the ladder in my hurry to escape... (he was working on the roof when he saw her)

we took her and her babies to the neighborhood UNpetting Zoo (shiver)

the tarantulas are kinda scary too, but I just stay FAR away from them, and their burrows, lol !!

Sorry I haven't been posting much, I'm feeling kind of blah and having a wonderful new symptom....I am having horrible pain all over the right side of my face, jaw and right ear....no I do not have any dental problems or TMJ. It starts at my eye socket and goes down below my chin and right ear. My face is numb throughout this area as well and it causes my ear to really hurt

So I am just laying around popping ibuprofen like candy not doing much.

Good morning to all my board buds. The guys went out for breakfast at a flea market/ hit and miss engine reunion. Who knows when they will decide to come home. DH looks forward to the show every year.

While they are gone those who remain are going to one grocery store, just so we don't all starve, then a few crafting shops. I'll do the rest of the grocery shopping tomorrow. Craft supply store? Charge!

NaeNae, that sounds sorta like what my neuro called Trigeminal Neuralgia.

I get the pain in weird places, upper cheekbone, behind ears, INSIDE ears, in temple-area, sometimes in the jawbone, and under my eye... etc.

it seems to take turns where it shows up.

sometimes it's a dull aching throb, and sometimes it's a ZING humdinger of a sharp pain, like a knitting needle being thrust quickly in, then, poof, gone!

I hope you get some answers honey, 'cause TN is no fun.

hugs, Jungle-Mama

Kay may be right when i get Trigeminal Neuralgia it hits me differently then what you are getting and diff from what kay described, so perhaps Trigeminal Neuralgia does not have a set pattern on how it effects us. Did you call and talk to doc about it? hope so

morning ...

well, some good news ... although I don't have the financial aid for September (due to a new change in the Dept of Education disbursement rules) I can't take any courses until November ...

just called them about this - and I only have to take ONE more course (in November) .. and then my capstone for my degree in January!! graduate in February!

and, I called the disability about rescheduling ...she said that it might end up being pushed out farther now .. and I lost it (cried) ... and she's going to see about the change and making the appointment closer to Madison ..and closer date, too.

that's all I've been doing since 630am this morning is crying ... I'm tired of trying to 'hang on' anymore ... I'm all alone ... and feel guilty leaning on my friends ... I'm trying to accept all the little miracles that come my way, tho.

all I need right now is a good swift-kick in the backside and buck-up ... but, that's getting numb too! LOL
