Congratulations Momma! I'll keep my fingers crossed for the next few weeks, but I bet your lawyer knows better than anyone so that's awesome for you. Wonderful news!

Momma, congrats! Now you just have to wait to see how big that back pay is going to be! Where will you go? What will you do with it?

I already know where it is going...to pay for four years of long term disability and an attorney.

I will be fortunate if I get 20 bucks when all is said and done. lol

Yep, but I'm thankful I had the LTD...cause without that income...I would be living in front of Hillary Clinton's house with a sign...

Just give me some food. I ain't able to work. lol
Said in jest, but I know of several people in this situation...One family with seven kids they have lost both vehicles, their house and are now looking for somewhere they can afford. They worked so hard for the future, their mtg company is no help, interest on their house jumped from 2.5 to 10.25 in less than 5 years. Payments are over 1800.00 a month, forced bankruptcy is their only option at this point.

I'm thankful, my banker works with me if I'm late on a payment...but then I know all his deep dark secrets. lol

Sandy...how is your mom?

Momma, I updated in the spiritual thread about my mom. She was in the ER last night and she may have to stop working. They believe she is having seizures and she's back on dilating. Speaking of being down on your luck. If she leaves her job (hopefully they will offer LTD) she may lose her insurance and have to move in with my sister until she can get disability. Which means, no income. The ride is just starting and she's only 63. They also took away her driving privileges until further notice. She is very angry and not just at life, at all of us. Say a prayer for her please?

This whole health care thing has to change. People like my mom and your friends are the ones suffering. I wanted to call into the debate so bad and tell what happened to my mom and what are they going to do immediately about people like her? How are they going to protect our citizens when a health care crisis hits and they are left without insurance or no income to support Cobra? Arghhh.
