Default My new 'DO"

Okay, just came back from around the corner. Got my summer haircut.

Cost me all of $10.00. I get the Senior Citizen's discount.

Not only do I love the beautician, but it's like a social outing. The woman in the seat next to me was 82 and recently widowed.

We had each other hysterical telling off-color jokes. She had a good sense of humor. She also had a HEAD OF HAIR that I wished I had.

So here's the new me (at least for the summer anyway).

Okay, I shall try and change my avatar. But it never works. Someone always has to rescue me and resize it and then I get to put the new one in.

I actually don't think I look THAT much different, but I guess with the bangs, well I'M STILL SASSY!!!! lol

Whoever thought I would wear bangs at my age. I think it's a hoot!!!!

Thanks for all the kind words.

OOHH, I CHANGED IT. I ACTUALLY DID IT ALL BY MYSELF. It's small though. Maybe I'll take a closeup and do it again at another time. Hey, at least I'm still learning something on this computer.

TWINKS:: Why is your avatar bigger than mine??? The rectange on mine is smaller. Did you do anything different??
Thanks, Melody

I guess if I squint my eyes just right, it COULD look like a scarf..Wouldn't suggest wearing it, though..
Melody, your haircut looks great! I wish I had the guts to cut mine, but I know how much work it is when it's shorter..When it's all long, I don't have to blow dry or anything..Just stick it in a ponytail & go.
I still can't believe that's not all your own hair..What a great find!

Hi Polar:

Believe me, this product at least gives me some self-esteem.

Here's a link to what it looks like, and there's a photo of a guy before and after.

http://www.asseenontv.com/prod-pages...k_dark_bn.html

I must be using this stuff for over 7 years.

I only wish I had the moola to go for a weave. Not extensions or anything like that. My friend around the corner (her grandaughter came yesterday). She's 29 and she has long long black hair. The odd thing is I never have seen her with long long black hair.

She goes "how do you like my new weave?" And I said "really??? I've never seen a weave close up, where is the weave and where is YOUR hair?"

You couldn't tell ANYTHING. I saw HER hair.

She bent over, showed me the top and she parted her hair. I still couldn't tell. She explained that they use some type of glue process.

It was also real hair worth $5000. I said 'you paid $5000 for this head of hair?" and she laughed and said "no, this is a friend of my dad's, I didn't pay any $5000".

OH my god, if I could just get a bit of hair (weaved into the top of my head), I would never have to use this spray every day (every other day actually).

But it's much too expensive.

But I'd do it. Call me vain, I'd do it!!!!
