Yes, you can "move about the cabin" when the seatbelt signs are off. During any service, wait for them to finish your zone, otherwise you'll be trapped between their carts. It's not uncommon at all on longer flights, we all need to stretch a little. I once stood for 45 minutes on a long flight, it sure makes it easier.

The "pop" the ear thing happens when you swallow, hence the drinking and gum tips, they make you swallow more often.
