Default So proud of dd i could cry....

Hi everyone,

As most of you know, my 8 yr old dd has hard a very difficult time with ld and other behaviour issues...

Well, she just came down with a huge box full of toys.... she said she was giving them to the poor kids who don't have any.... i wanted to cry.

This is HUGE for her since she has a hard time relating to other children as far as feelings, behaviours etc.

I'm so proud of her i just wanted to share..

Have a wonderful day, i know i will.

P.S. As we speak she is still looking to fill the box, now she wants to give away clothes too.

That's wonderful!! I know you're so proud of her and the fact that she came up with this idea all by herself. She's maturing and just following her own natural instincts of being generous and caring. What a wonderful Mother's Day gift!

I could not have asked for a better Mother's Day.

You have no idea how huge of a breakthrough this is for her.
She has huge problems relating to other children's feelings.
If she's angry with someone she says that she hates them etc..
Yesterday she said she didn't care about Mother's Day and why do i have to have to receive a gift... she just couldn't understand it no matter which way i explained it...
She wanted to know why there was a "sister's day"...

She has alot of trouble with this... so when she did this it really surprised me..
