I clicked the link. Quite enjoyable! I was born in '56 but have an older brother and sister, so I was exposed to lots of this music. Nostalgia is a wonderful thing!

Unfortunately I have to admit to being older than you then Steve, but I truly enjoyed both those clips.

To those who are hphh, hphh, "Older".
Remember 8-tracks? Now my car only has a CD player and MP3 hook-up. No tape deck. 8-(

oldsteve, Yes, thats a sad picture. That one of the little naked girl in ? running down the street screaming & crying is sad too (I don't know when that was). But remember the good stuff. On GMAmerica this morn they had a thing about Woodstock (that wasn't 1968 though (I think you know)). For a long time I thought C,S,N wrote "Woodstock". Were'nt they there?

I knew, even before I clicked on that link (the execution), exactly what that photo would look like. How long has it been?? Over 30 years right?? I remember it very well. How sad to have such a memory??

On our cable TV they have several music stations (no video on them). The classic rock songs from the 60's & 70's are under "Solid Gold Oldies". I also listen to "Rock Legends", "I Love The 60's" and "I Love The 70's".

Solid Gold Oldies just had Something by the Beatles & now is Stop! In The Name Of Love by Diana Ross & the Supremes.

Lor, I was subjected to actual film of the execution on the TV news. Not just a still picture. I remember the film cutting back after the gunshot. I was amazed at how much blood can spurt out of the human body. And yes, the naked little girl after being napalmed. What a sad era for the U.S.

Woodstock was in 1969. I try to recall the better times from this era. Like the music. I still listen to some of the old "protest" songs. They still cause a lump in my throat. And there's an old hippie down the street that has a bumper sticker with the peace symbol and it says "Back by Popular Demand". That's pretty cool!

That bumpersticker thing made me chuckle. Does he have long hair? For a long time my brother did.

I saw that picture of the little girl on the web & also a photo of her today, smiling. She lives in Canada.

Yes Lor,

Long hair and a beard. But then, I had a ponytail and a ZZ Top beard until about 1998!
