Mornings on MSNBC won't be the same. He was sometimes a "guest" on "Morning Joe," which I watch nearly every day. Listening to his friends/colleagues... I did learn that he just loved Yogi Berra, and stammered like a kid when he had Yogi on "Meet the Press."

Also, what resonates is that if those who appeared on "Meet the Press" picked up bias, then, they weren't on-air with T. Russert.

He sure did love his family!


Very sad he died - and that he put work before health (as do so many). He had only recently learned that he had an asymptomatic condition and was beginning to work on that - to change things.
